SMITH BATH I: KITCHEN & BATH
My clients wanted to achieve an airy look while updating their bathroom. They wanted a glass panel shower, with a colored tile that will allow the owner to unwind at the end of the day. My clients also wanted patterned ceramic tile for the flooring, instead of their existing laminate. The biggest change they wanted was to get rid of their tub, and just have a walk-in shower. This would add an updated and modern look to their small bathroom. The owners did not want anything too special, just rainfall showerheads and integrated speakers. The only other requests were to incorporate a shower seat and niches to hold any products. In the end, the refreshing and modern look is what they are looking for

SMITH KITCHEN II: KITCHEN & BATH
My client’s current kitchen is functional; however, it doesn’t please the eye and it doesn’t allow them to enjoy their kitchen and cooking in it. They currently do not have enough cabinet space, they don’t like the materials used in their outdated kitchen, however they do like the layout, they just wish to have a bit more seating. They also wish to have a larger range, sink, and upgraded appliances to benefit them and their routinely cooking. For my client, they want to accomplish a modern farmhouse design for their kitchen, and they want to incorporate sage green cabinetry.
My clients wanted to renocate their current space by updating the overall finishes. They requested a bench seat in the window, updated lighting, a lot of storage, and a more modern look.
I obtained this by updated the fireplace, adding storage and shelving for their big family that frequently comes to visit.
I allowed for a warm, yet updated space that was functional for their growing family.
COMMERCIAL
For my marketing office, I chose to focus on marketing R&B vinyls. I wanted to highlight on the warm feeling surrounding R&B music and the feeling of listening to music on a vinyl record. This space was designed to reflect a warm and contemporary style throughout.
Materials that had movement and texture were chosen for added elements to the space.
For this althetic and loungwear company, I wanted to appeal to everyone who would be coming into this small business space. Using black and wood accents to highlight on a soft masculinity within the design. While highlighting on feminity with the cool tone and nature inspired materials. Using a mix of materials have allowed for an inclusive, welcoming, and modern space. This allows for an optimal customer experience for anyone walking into the space.
For this Fenty Beauty Pop Up Shop, I was inspired by the packaging of the products. All of the Fenty Beauty products are octogon shapes, with a light pink hue, and white and black accents.
The amber glass and gold accents are inspired by the new Fenty Perfume that is amber glass with gold accents. This new perfume is seen being displayed in the back of the store.
I wanted to combine all elements to create a cohesive and fun space for anyone who enters the shop.
