THE GREEKS Behold our pantheon of Greek deities, from Athena the Goddess of Wisdom, to Aphrodite the Goddess of Love and Persephone the Queen of the Underworld. Wear her coin; channel her power.

07

APHRODITE Enchanting. Romantic. Divine. Aphrodite is the ancient Greek Goddess of love, beauty, and gracefulness. She was born from the waters of Paphos and as she walked ashore, flowers sprang up from her feet.

A RT E M I S Independent. Fiery. Huntress. Artemis is the Olympian Goddess of the wilderness and wild animals. She is both a protector of the young and hunter of the old. She rewards her supporters with favors and will seek swift vengeance against any transgressors.

AT H E N A Wise. Altruistic. Goddess. Athena, the Goddess of heroic endeavor, fought alongside the Greek heroes and was sought by all for help and advice. Unsurpassed in warfare and wisdom, she inspired women to be both well-educated and f ierce.

H E C AT E Mysterious. Intense. Bewitching. The ultimate Goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, the moon, ghosts, and necromancy is here. All things dark belong to Hecate. She ruled over both the living world and the underworld and is often pictured holding keys as the Goddess of boundaries between the two.

HERA Majestic. Savage. Queen. The Greek Goddess of women, family, marriage, and Queen of the Olympian deities, Hera was worshipped throughout the ancient world as bold, clever, and powerful, and infamous for her savage acts against her husband Zeus and his innumerable mistresses.

MEDUSA Feared. Revered. Badass. Medusa is a gorgon with venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazers upon her face will turn to stone, making her both feared and unstoppable. Her face has been immortalized on shields and breastplates throughout antiquity as a totem to ward off evil.

PERSEPHONE Mystical. Infernal. Illustrious. Persephone is a venerated Greek dual-deity; in addition to her birthright as the Goddess of Springtime, Persephone became the Queen of the Underworld and presided over the dead with intriguing autonomy.

SELENE Enchanting. Amorous. Ethereal. Greek Goddess of the moon, she’s gorgeous, magically gifted, and responsible for driving the moon across the sky every night with her silver, snowy steed-led chariot. Is there anything quite as romantic as staring up at the moon, wondering if your lover is too?

THE IRL GODDESSES Our “In Real Life” Goddess Collection celebrates powerful women throughout history from Harriet Tubman to Frida Kahlo and Joan of Arc. Which shero makes you feel empowered?

16

C L E O PAT RA Beautiful. Powerful. Femme Fatale. Cleopatra was the last ruler of the Kingdom of Egypt. She actively influenced Roman politics through her romantic liaisons and military alliances. She came to represent, as did no other woman of antiquity, the prototype of the romantic femme fatale.

FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE Compassionate. Trailblazing. Healer. Florence Nightingale was a public health pioneer. She revolutionized healthcare with her no-nonsense approach to hygiene, sanitation and patient care and transformed nursing into a highly valued profession. * We donate 20% of proceeds from our Florence pieces to the American Nurses Foundation.

F R I DA K A H L O Artistic. Brilliant. Visionary. Frida Kahlo was a celebrated Mexican painter known for her captivating self-portraits. By remaining artistically active under the weight of hardship, Frida made it legitimate for women to display their emotions. She is celebrated as a symbol of strength and resilience for female artists everywhere.

HARRIET TUBMAN Liberated. Relentless. Hero. Known as the “Moses of her people” Harriet Tubman helped hundreds of slaves escape to freedom via the Underground Railroad. She never lost a single “passenger” nor let anyone turn back. * We donate 100% of proceeds from our Harriet pieces, plus a matching donation, to the NAACP.

HUA MULAN Loyal. Rebellious. Warrior. As legend has it, Hua Mulan disguised herself as a male soldier to take her ailing father’s place in the national army and outperformed her male counterparts in all forms of battle. She is revered as one of China’s most valiant heroines.

J OA N O F A R C Fierce. Strong. Fearless. Joan of Arc believed she was destined to lead France to victory in its Hundred Years’ War with England. With no military training, she fearlessly led an army to victory and thereby became one of history’s greatest saints.

MARIE CURIE Curious. Indomitable. Scientist. Marie Curie was a pioneering scientist celebrated for her discovery of radium and her enormous contribution to the f ight against cancer. She received two Nobel Prizes for her work on radioactivity.

RUTH BADER GINSBERG Enlightened. Feminist. Notorious. RBG spent a lifetime flourishing in the face of adversity before being appointed a Supreme Court justice, where she successfully fought for gender equality and civil liberties.

M A R S H A P. J O H N S O N Expressive. Trailblazing. Iconic. A true queen who often wore a crown of flowers, Marsha P. Johnson is an activist icon. Not only did she model for Andy Warhol and co-found Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries aka S.T.A.R., she was also a pivotal leader in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. 26

WO M E N O F WO R S H I P Deities of different cultures, and religions united by their divine femininity. Get lost in the breathtaking detail of these sacred tablet pendants.

29

LAKSHMI Abundant. Entrepreneurial. Virtuous. The Hindu Goddess of wealth and purity, Lakshmi brings good fortune to those who worship her not only materially, but also spiritually. She dwells in areas of bravery, virtue and hard work, and is known to turn her back on those who become arrogant or complacent.

LILITH Wicked. Sexy. Vengeful. Raise your hand if you knew Adam’s f irst wife wasn’t Eve? History has a way of glossing over powerful women like Lilith, Adam’s f irst wife. Not to say she was erased entirely from the history books.

M O T H E R M A RY Holy. Humble. Devoted. The Blessed Virgin Mary was a f irst-century Galilean Jewish woman of Nazareth and the mother of Jesus, according to the canonical gospels. When the angel Gabriel came to Mary to tell her she was chosen by God to be the mother of His son, despite her fear she exhibited astounding humility, courage and character.

OSHUN Compassionate. Sensual. Radiant. Worshipped in the Yoruba religion as the Goddess of love, beauty and fertility, Oshun is the granter of wishes for all your heart’s desires. She is known for healing the sick, tending to the poor, and bringing lovers together. Oshun has a sparkling allure and is often depicted holding a gilded mirror to admire her own beauty.

PAC H A M A M A Protective. Nurturing. Sacred. The Andean fertility Goddess, whose name translates to “Mother Earth,” is a benevolent deity who nourishes and protects all Earthlings. Pachamama also demands respect. She wants everyone to not only treat her well, but also cherish the home she provides for us all.

QUAN YIN Merciful. Peaceful. Loving. The name Quan Yin translates to “The one who hears the cries of the world”. As the primary female Buddhist deity, she represents enduring compassion, f ierce love and endless mercy, and brings emotional rescue to anyone seeking it in a time of crisis.

THE ANCIENTS Introducing a new world of Goddess: The Ancients. Featuring organic shaped artifact pendants, each of our Ancients Necklaces are one of a kind treasures to inspire you through this lifetime and the next.

43

ISIS Omnipotent. Faithful. Tolerant. The Egyptian goddess of healing and magic predates all others. Known as “Aset” to the Egyptians rather than “Isis” her Greek name, she will certainly be an asset to all who don her symbol.

F R E YA Prosperous. Promiscuous. Vibrant. Few goddesses know how to live it up like the Norse goddess Freya. Ruler of love, fertility, beauty, and f ine material possessions she certainly has an appreciation for the f iner things in life.

KALI Strong. Indignant. Chaotic If you embody the most powerful Hindu Goddess, we’re happy for you and maybe a little scared of you, too. Because no Goddess in Indian history is as f ierce as Kali. The ultimate deity of death, destruction, and doomsday, she’s not to be taken lightly.

IX CHEL Caring. Fertile. Transformative. My oh Mayan, the Goddess of love, the moon, and fertility is also known as the Lady Rainbow. She was worshipped by Mayan women, weavers, and textile artists alike, but she also has a destructive side f illed with floods and natural disasters.

THE GODDESS AMULETS Dazzling yellow gold and sterling silver symbols of strength, inspiration, and purpose. Designed to be worn alone or layered perfectly with our Goddess Necklaces, these delicate totems are detailed with diamonds and colored gemstones.

How do I care for my Awe jewelry? With proper care, our pieces can maintain their quality for generations. Perspiration, perfumes, and lotions can dull the appearance of gemstones and precious metals. Because of this, it is always good practice to wipe down your jewelry with a cotton or polishing cloth after wear. Use a professional jewelry polishing cloth to restore your jewelry’s luster, especially in the case of sterling silver, which can tarnish over time. We do not recommend wearing any jewelry while bathing, showering or swimming. How should I store my Awe jewelry? When not in use, store your jewelry in your Awe gift box or velvet pouch, or any other closed and dry container. How can I get an item repaired? If you should experience a need for repair on any Awe jewelry, please email customercare@ aweinspired.com. Awe will repair at no charge any breakage caused by manufacturer defect within 120 days of receipt of purchase.
