Referrals Update We have now supported over 5,500 people through our Motiv8 programme. Last quarter we received the highest number of new referrals for over 3 years! Thank you for continuing to refer!
The Future of Motiv8 As you may know, after 6 years of delivery and several extensions, the Building Better Opportunities funding for Motiv8 is due to come to an end, meaning the programme is currently due to close on 31st March 2023. We have had some incredible achievements since the programme launched in 2017 and we expect to continue to take referrals until 31st October 2022. This will allow sufficient time for clients to get onto the programme and complete their action plan. If they have not completed their Motiv8 journey by the end of our programme, we will support them to access another agency or signpost them to places that can take them forward. We want to thank you all for your continued support in referring your clients to us, and to those agencies that have supported our Motiv8 clients on their journey to get back on track. We hope that this will still continue for the next few months! We are aware that Motiv8 provides that extra layer of support that so many people need before they are ready to look for employment or training. We are proactively exploring options to secure alternative funding to continue our work helping the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in Greater Manchester.
