Technical Data Sheet DURA FIX Slow Cure
DURA-FIX Slow Cure is a specially formulated two part epoxy compound designed to repair all species of decayed and damaged wood. Suitable for interior and exterior use. Common applications include window sills, column bases, and vertical wood molding. Also ideal for repairing natural wood imperfections, such as open checking, knots, and splits. DURA-FIX no slump formula provides unparalleled workability on both vertical and horizontal surfaces with large or small repairs. DURA-FIX provides superior bonding strength and long-term durability. DURA-FIX will not harden and become brittle with age. Non-corrosive and contains no VOC’s.

Manual Mixing Dispense desired amount onto a flat surface and mix thoroughly until uniform in color using a putty knife.

Attach suitable mixing nozzle and secure with nut provided. Due to considerable back pressure, use only a 26-1 ratio dispensing gun. Dispose of used nozzle and reseal cartridge.
Working and Curing Time After thoroughly mixing parts A and B, DURA-FIX will remain workable for 30-40 minutes at 70 degrees. After 12 hours, DURA-FIX can be sanded, machined, chiseled or stained. Do not leave exposed to weathering. DURA-FIX must be top coated with a paint, varnish, or solid stain. (See installation instructions for more details.)
