The Conquerors uniform dress code is designed to promote a positive and professional learning environment by unifying the appearance of students so more focus can be placed on learning.

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR APPROVED SCHOOL UNIFORMS EVERYDAY. YOUR SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURING THE UNIFORM DRESS CODE IS SUCCESSFULLY FOLLOWED.

If you are needing larger uniforms or have some that no longer fit, consider utilizing the Uniform Exchange - a no cost way to exchange gently worn uniforms!

Khaki or black Norman’s School Uniform skorts or skirts with the DCA embroidered logo

Athletic shoes only

FRIDAYS All students may wear an official DCA spirit shirt with uniform bottoms

White collared blouse that can be worn under the DCA jumper only

Khaki Norman’s School Uniform jumper with the DCA embroidered logo and jumper must be worn with a school polo

Undershirts may be black, white, gray or royal blue

Khaki or black Norman’s School Uniform pants/shorts with DCA embroidered logo Pants/shorts must be worn at the waist

Girls must wear shorts under jumpers or skirts and the jumper or skirt must be long enough that the shorts are not seen

Shorts, skorts, and skirts must be worn at the waist

Jackets must be removed while in the classroom Approved DCA Norman’s School Uniform must be worn under outerwear Please put your child’s name on all clothing

Solid black, white, gray or royal blue socks (small brand logo is permissible) Solid black or white tights. Tights can be footed or ankle length.

Sandals are not permitted Shoes may not have pictures, lights, sounds or wheels Belts must be black, brown, white or navy without designs or emblems Jewelry is to be worn minimally

Skirts must fall within reasonable proximity of the knee

SWIM WEAR: Girls must wear a modest one-piece swimsuit for PE or other school related water activities SCHOOL EVENTS & NON-UNIFORM DAYS Students are expected to dress modestly and neatly Undergarments and midriff may not be visible. Spandex and yoga pants are not permitted Students who arrive to school events or activities dressed improperly may be required to change

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS: Gray “Conquerors” PE shirt and royal blue mesh PE shorts purchased through Norman’s Uniforms

Jackets must be removed while in the classroom

Shoes must be worn at all times

Approved DCA Norman’s School Uniform must be worn under outerwear Hoodies can only be worn over DCA polos, not underneath College and University sweatshirts may be worn on Fridays only

Socks must match and be crew length or shorter

GAME DAY DRESS Athletic teams may wear game jerseys to school on Friday game days only and sleeveless uniforms must be worn with a white undershirt

Hats must be removed indoors Jewelry is to be worn minimally Boys are not permitted to wear earrings Gauges and other piercings are not permitted

ENFORCEMENT

Students who are out of dress code will be removed from class or a school activity until the violation has been corrected. When dress code violations occur, parents/ guardians must bring approved uniforms to school in a timely manner. Once in appropriate uniform, the student may return back to class or school activity. All missed time from class will be considered unexcused.

This policy applies to all infractions.

Students with repeated violations will be subject to discipline per the handbook policy.

ADMINISTRATION MAKES THE FINAL DECISION REGARDING THE APPROPRIATENESS OF STUDENT ATTIRE AND SCHOOL-RELATED ACTIVITIES.
