JGArchitects is full-service architectural firm. Founded in 1998, the practice is a collaboration of experienced architects and interior designers who are leading specialists in the field. To undertake the most technically and time demanding projects, while at the same time, the firm’s small size guarantees that a Principal will serve as Project Manager for every project. The work of the practice is characterized by research, meaningful design tailored to each client; attention to detail; and a service-oriented approach.

Joseph Goldstein founded JGArchitects in 1998 as a collaborative practice of leading specialists with expertise in architectural interiors. Prior to forming JGArchitects, he was an associate in the partnership group of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. His work as principal of JGArchitects includes food services projects including for fast-casual restaurant chain COSI, Inc; Cosmic Cafe, OMS/B Japanese Rice Ball Cafe and cafeteria/ lunchroom for Permanent Mission of Trinidad and Tobago; and Barbados; Nippo Telegraph& Telephone and Interclick/ Yahoo!
A licensed architect in New York, New Jersey and Massachussetts, with over twenty-five years of experience, Joseph Goldstein attended Paul Mellon Centre for the Study of British Art, and graduated from Yale University and Cooper Union School of Architecture. He has been teaching design studios at the New York School of Interior Design since 2005; and is Board Secretary of the Congress of International Modern Architects [CIMA].

Magali has been practicing architecture for over 25 years. Her employment and collaboration with JGArchitects started in 2006. Prior to that she worked at a variety of firms (Karl Fischer Architects, Beyer Blinder Belle, Meridian Design to name a few) as well as holding a small private practice focusing on residential design. Her experience includes a wide range of project types. As an experienced architect, Magali’s professional commitment has been to create architecture that meets the client’s functional & aesthetic needs, schedule and budget. She has a comprehensive background in all phases of project development from conceptual design to completion, organizational and planning expertise with a strong understanding of the needs, goals and working relationships between client, developers, consultants, contractors and architect. Her experience includes defining programs with clients and user groups, presentation of design proposals, budget and schedule control, creating clear comprehensive contract documents, allocating tasks to project team,

Kim consistently exhibits fresh and dynamic thinking, resulting in projects that are approachable yet always with a nod to the adventurous.
A graduate of the Cornell University program of Art, Architecture and Planning, Kim possesses a broad range of experience in the design industry, including working in fashion and buying merchandise and designing jewelry under the tutelage of legendary designer Kenneth Jay Lane.

As Senior Interior Designer at the Rockwell Group from 1996 to 2003, Kim spearheaded a variety of projects in the restaurant, hospitality, and residential realm. With a portfolio of award-winning and widely publicized projects, including the Chambers Hotel and Town Restaurant in New York City, Pod Restaurant in Philadelphia (Stephen Starr), Canyon Ranch Miami, Origins, Django Restaurant and Olives Union Square, she has a proven record of concept-driven thinking. Her work has been featured in Architectual Digest, Elle Decor, Hamptons Cottages and Gardens, The New York Times, InStyle, Gotham Magazine, and New York Magazine, among others.
Computer-aided design specialist and architect, Todd Class joined JGArchitects as a Principal at its founding as a collaborative practice of leading specialists. Todd Class has a comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of software packages, operating systems, networking systems; CAD, CAFM animationand rendering; business and graphics applications; and the Internet. In addition, he is a Certified AutoCAD Training Specialist. A graduate of New York Institute of Technology, Todd Class was the computer graphics coordinator for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and subsequently, developer of computer usage for the Metropolitan Museum Egyptian Art Department and Director of Academic Computing for The New York School of Interior Design. Currently, in addition to his responsibilities at JGArchitects, Todd Class is Director of Academic Computing at New York School of Interior Design and Chair of The Computer Technology in Interior Design Subcommittee, of the Interior Design on Educators Council.
