On-Course Rider Services SAG Vehicles “SAG wagons” are on the course to help those in need. For the safety of our riders and because of the narrowness of the route, personal SAG vehicles are not allowed. To signal a SAG vehicle, move off the road and out of the path of other riders, take off your helmet and wave at the SAG vehicle.

Rest Stops Rest stops are located approximately every 10 to 15 miles throughout the course. Check your route map for exact locations. Each rest stop is staffed with food and drinks, a medical team and a bike mechanic.

Bicycle Mechanics Mechanics will be on hand throughout the duration of the event for those in need of assistance. Repairs will be free of charge but you will need to cover the cost of any additional parts. Please be prepared to handle your own minor repairs – e.g. flat tires, bring tubes and tools.

Medical Service Medics will be available at all rest stops and will have basic first aid items on hand. Volunteer medics will be available at the finish line both days. In case of an emergency, dial 911.

Parking Parking is available at both sites. To minimize traffic congestion we highly encourage carpooling. Please cooperate with the parking crew and follow all instructions and signs as they direct you to your appropriate parking destination. If you are being dropped off for the event, please notify parking staff and you will be directed to the Cyclist Drop-Off Area. The National MS Society is not responsible for any lost or damaged property; including your vehicle and/or any contents within.

Luggage Service When arriving at UCSF Mission Bay parking lot on Saturday, please drop your luggage at one of the luggage trucks. Make sure your bag has your luggage tag, included in your rider packet. Bags may be claimed at the luggage area near the finish line. Bags will need to be dropped off at the luggage area on Sunday morning and will be available for pick-up when you return to San Francisco.
