Plugging leaders, teachers, and mentors into the Source Sunday, August 4, 5 - 8 pm Registration and dinner open at 4:30 Dinner and opening session in Haney Hall, closing worship in the Sanctuary with Dr. Davis Chappell. Empowered! is designed to: • equip volunteer leaders with the tools to serve in ministries with children, students, and adults • show volunteers how to serve as spiritual leaders in those ministries If you are a teacher or leader in any area involving children, students, or adults, Empowered! is for you! There is Still time to register for Starting Point Although our session began last Sunday, you can still register for Starting Point, a class designed for new members or for people who are considering membership. Jeff Wilson and Eric Burton-Krieger lead the class and will discuss topics like personal discipleship, BUMC’s history and vision, how to plug into the church and more. Christmas in July Packing Party Sunday, July 28, 1-3 pm, Singles Area All ages. Great fun! Pack over 500 backpacks and supplies for children in need. We’ll have a blessing over the backpacks and supplies.
