The Jewish. Federation of Omaha and its Centers of Excellence have named their Volunteers of the Year. These awards are given annually to people who have provided exceptional volunteer service to the Federation and our Centers of Excellence, the Eripke library, the Rose Blumkin Jewish Home and the Jewish Press. The awards will be present-

Three women will be honored at the annual installation meeting of National Council of Jewish Women. Omaha Section, on Thursday, May 17, 6J30 p.m., at Temple Israel. Solomon Award is presented to a woman who has changed the lives of others through her leadership efforts and service; who has helped to change and expand the role of other women in vital areas of community life; and whose leadership in areas of NCSJW—improving: the quality of life for people of ail ages and backgroundshas motivated others to fight for change, and has resulted in progress and enlightenment in the community. The 90-year-young Zysman has always had education as a priority in her life. She received a master's degree from Columbia University in 1932 and has worked hard for early childhood education. Years before the creation of Head Start, Zysman organized a group of volunteers to teach lowerincome children. She and her husband, Jack, founded their own company, Playtime Equipment, an educational toy company.

Popular Jewish rocker "Yehuda!" will perform a free concert Sunday, May 20, at the Jewish Community Center outdoor festival to celebrate Yom Yerushalyim, Jerusalem Day. The holiday commemorates the return of the Old City in Jerusalem to the Jews after the 1967 SixDay War for the first time in more than 2,000 years. Omaha's Yom Yerushalyim celebration starts at 5 p.m., with, a kosher fried chicken picnic dinner. "Yehuda!" will take the stage at 6 p.m. Yehuda's music is high-spirited and energetic with lots of audience interaction. A native of Cleveland, Yehuda is a Yeshiva-educated young performer whose music is fun and inspiring. His unique blend of fun, surprise and inspiration is a big hit with audiences.
