Nursing Director Joins Staff at Dr. Sher Home Omaha—The appointment of Mrs. Mary Rich as Director of Nursing for the Dr. Philip Sher Home for the Aged was announced this week by Daniel Sambol, Director of the Home. As Director'of Nursing, Mrs. Rich, a registerd nurse, will be Working primarily in the infirmary section of the J3her Home, serving as administra-' tor of^ a staff of 26 which includes three.registered nurses and 23 hospital aides. Active in nursing in Omaha for the past 25 years, Mrs. Rich received her training at the Nebraska Methodist Hospi-

tal. She was previously employed at the Eppley Care Center Chemical Dependency Unit and has served in the obstetrics and surgical departments of the Nebraska Methodist Hospital and Immanuel Hospital. In an interview at the Home on Monday, Mrs. Rich was enthusiastic about her new position and termed the Home "a cheerful place with great potential." Mr.. Sambol indicated that the addition of "Mrs. Rich to the staff was one of many steps being taken to improve he quality of care for the residents of the home.
