His figures show that to date the building costs, furniture and other expenses have been ?240,000. The library will have an annual budget of $40,000. It now contains 225,000 books and receives regularly 1,500 periodicals, including 400 in English and 400 in German. In addition to Tts bookstores the library contains thirty rooms.
