Tryouts for the second Center Players' Guild production of the season will be held at the Jewish Community Center at 2:00 o'clock Sunday, October 21. Mrs. Herman Jahr will again be in charge of the play. She has announced that the next play will be Oscar Wilde's famous drama, "Lady Wlndermere's Fan." The tryouts will begin at 2 o'clock sharp. After 2:15, no one will be admitted to them. Participation in the tryouts is open to all persons interested in dramatics.

On Friday evening^ October 12, Alpha Chi chapter of .$>e Phi Delta Epsilon, national medical fraternity, at Creighton University, celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of the national fraternity with a banquet at the Elk's Club. David Gross served as toastmaster and short talks were given by Dr. Victor E. Levine and Samuel Z. Faier. consul. The following men were formally pledged at tbe banquet: Maurice Miller and Hyman Riklin of Omaha, and Irving Bosenstein and Norman Sehaeffer of New York City.
