The Young Israel Monsey & Wesley Hills Gala Dinner recently honored Rabbi Ari and Debby Jacobson for their guidance and spiritual leadership as the shul’s rabbi and rebbetzin for many years. Dr David Schwalb, the shul’s president, presented the honorees with a NYS Assenbly Certificate from Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski in recognition of their dedication to the community.

The 5th Annual Celebrate Judea and Samaria event, co-sponsored by One Israel Fund, was recently held in Washington, DC. The event featured a panel of experts on Judea and Samaria, including

On October 2, Zicharon, an organization that assists people on issues relating to dementia, hosted an informative evening in Menorah Hall featuring renowned dementia experts who provided the audience with much-needed advice and information on dealing with this disease. Among the speakers were Rabbi Eliezer Kaminetzky; Dr. Gary Kennedy, chief of Geriatric Psychiatry at Monteore Medical Center; and Matt Kudish, senior vice president of caregiver services of the NY Chapter of the American Alzheimer’s Association.
