An Update on Philly Stands with Isreal Emergency Projects
JFRE allocated $232,000 to the post-October 7th humanitarian relief efforts in Israel. The funding went towards: Batteryoperated radios and walkie talkies are needed for when communication collapses and cell phones don’t work so that those in bomb shelters can reach first responders for help or IDF to know if terrorists are on property; Emergency equipment is needed for volunteer first responders to include helmets, vests, flashlights, night vision devices and lock breakers, 20 portable bomb shelters; and ITC Resilience Center needs a CRM system for the influx of new clients.
