The Jewish Federation Real Estate (JFRE) group brings together the Greater Philadelphia region’s real estate professionals to exchange ideas, network, hear from the brightest minds in the business — and to participate in impactful philanthropy.
Expand and deepen your network. JFRE members stay at the forefront of the real estate industry through exclusive networking events, educational programs and the annual Legends and Leaders. Discuss cutting-edge business trends, stay informed about new projects and meet industry leaders in informal settings.
And as you advance your own career, you advance the Jewish communities.
Philanthropy is at JFRE’s core. Your $1,000+ annual contribution to the JFRE Fund or the Jewish Community Fund provides critical resources for capital projects in Greater Philadelphia and Israel. In recent years, JFRE has invested more than $3 million in capital projects to repair homes for low-income older adults and families; support food pantries and safe houses for at-risk youth; upgrade Jewish overnight and day camp facilities. However, with the on-going rise of antisemitism, ensuring the safety, security and resiliency of our agencies became a priority as well.
JFRE offers its members an invaluable opportunity to engage, connect and invest in themselves and in our Jewish communities.

Operation Zur Israel recently brought 3,000 Ethiopian Jews to Israel, reuniting them with family members and giving them a chance to make a life where they can practice Judaism without fear of being persecuted for their beliefs. But for the remaining 12,000 Ethiopian Jews, famine, unsanitary conditions, lack of clean water and increasing disease is an inescapable reality. Through a grant from the JFRE Fund, along with personal donations from JFRE Executive Committee members, $160,000 was raised to build a medical clinic in Gondar, expanding access to medical care to more children, pregnant women and others awaiting aliyah to Israel.
We are proud to announce that JFRE awarded a total of $444,936 in grants for 18 security and capital projects locally, in Israel and overseas.
