It also fires evenly across the engine banks to create a visceral engine sound. The Jesko Absolut is destined to achieve higher speeds than any Koenigsegg. So how fast will it go? Only time will tell, but looking at the math and Koenigsegg’s advanced simulations, it will be unbelievably fast.

Hookie Co. “Silver ANT” To help prepare for the Glemseck 101 race’s first-ever all-electric class, Dresden, Germany-based Hookie Co. has created an electric class racer called the “Silver Ant.” To produce this racer, engineers started with a stock Cake ÖSA+ model and made significant modifications that include replacing the original fork with a custom one and adding an additional aluminum panel, a Magura HC3 front brake lever, front and rear LED displays, custom Frozen grips and Michelin tires, among other design changes.

These special editions, issued annually since 1992, honor historic figures that helped cultivate some of the most influential artistic movements in the world. Every Patron of Art Edition since 1995 has been offered in two limited versions. o you’re in the market for a private jet… well, seems like most of the UHNW cohort has one these days, perhaps even parked in their own dedicated hangar. What they don’t have—yet—is the latest in hoppedup helicopters. Meet the Hill HX50, what the company likes to dub the ‘world’s first private helicopter’. More specifically, the first of its kind specifically designed for personal use. Slated to hit the skies in 2023, the Hill HX50 starts at roughly $648,000 USD. Delivery of each helicopter will depend on the date the order is placed. Sublime proportions paired with sleek styling should appeal to the Maserati hypercar crowd, while the sheer stance of the chopper has a bold McLaren crossover feel. When it comes to exteriors, the HX50 has more in common with the styling of exotic supercars the likes of Lamborghini than a Bell Boeing silhouette. For experienced pilots, high performance is at your fingertips. The queue of clients is already well over 100; those at the head of the queue are expected to receive their order in August 2023, according to Hill.

For me the helicopter delivers a sense of freedom for the soul that is simply unachievable anywhere else. Jason Hill is taking this divine experience to the next level by creating for us, a state of the art helicopter. - STEVE BROOKS

The brainchild of chief engineer Jason Hill, the new HX50 is designed specifically for private individual owners, rather than fleet operators. For the pleasure of early adopters, each new owner is invited to the Hill factory in the UK. Inaugural purchasers will work side by side with a team of engineers and production technicians— all with the endgame to create a custom dream machine that exceeds every childhood whim you ever had when it comes to the freedom of flight. According to Hill, each client can build up to 51 percent of the personal rotorcraft if they so wish, under the close supervision of professionals. Talk about taking bespoke liberties and liveries to a whole new level. Hill is on a mission to create an aerial grand touring helicopter—to make flying the HX50 as desirable as owning a fine automobile, or splurging on a Riva speedboat or Mercedes Cigarette Racer. “We see the personal aviation trend continuing to strengthen for many years to come. If you can make an aircraft obtainable and desirable enough there is going to be a very large market for it,” predicts Dr. Jason Hill, Chairman & Chief Engineer. On the engineering side, the specifications of the HX50 promise one powerhouse whip of a ride. Equipped with a three-blade rotor system and an in-house GT50 turboshaft engine good for 400 hp, the chopper will be capable of cruising speeds of 161 mph, and a range of up to 806 Issue 3 . 2022 |

miles. A clever retractable landing gear smoothly reduces drag for more elegant lift off, a departure from the jerky wobbles of vintage Hawaii Five-O episodes. With a Mission Impossible look and feel—to the point where we wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Cruise (or his people) already have the A-Lister on the interest list. The futuristic fuselage is distinctive and streamlined to precision; it can be coated in a plethora of eye-catching or discreet color ways—your wish, your whimsy. Whether inspired by your clan’s tartan plaid, or the sapphire blue of your baby daughter’s eyes, make this heli your own. Inside, the five-person cabin is finished in plush leather and sports large, panoramic windows. A simple digital cockpit is truly a game changer, comprising two 15-inch glass instrument panels

and an iPad, ideal for recreational pilots. Leisure aviators may soon be able to leave charter fleets in the rear view mirror— that is, if Hill engineers and designers can deliver on fabrication, operational ease and intuitive controls. Owning a helicopter means you skip gridlock and civilian traffic while gaining the liberty and not-so-humble bragging rights flying on your own terms affords. Sure, you can charter a helicopter to get to the Berkshire Hathaway AGM, but customizing a machine to suit your own specs and aesthetic sensibility, arriving in high style, is pretty priceless. To say nothing of never having to compete for flight time. The good news, dear reader, is that personal ownership of both private jets and helicopters is more plausible for the affluent than ever. For those who wish

to pilot the aircraft themselves, you’ll want to ensure you log plenty of training hours in how to safely operate these marvelous machines. Not every helicopter pilot’s license is the same, nor universal. If you have your eye on a specific chopper, make sure your training is targeted for that helicopter. A helicopter that is both luxurious and economic, along with being fast and quiet, is the ideal innovation that the market is looking for. Companies like Hill aim to align the experience of flight with the travel experience you enjoy from your high-end vehicle. This dovetails with the travel trend that we have seen developing over the last couple of years. Safe to say, the future looks bright for those who dream of commuting to work and conferences on their own terms, or even those in long distance relationships that are suddenly not so insurmountable with a private heli in the equation. From highway gridlock saver to love life saver, the pleasurable upside of private helicopter ownership has never been more attainable, or more provocatively stylish.

ove over Maranello. There’s a new record holder in town, and this one is not from the same stables as the famous prancing horse. Dethroning the former top contender (a Ferrari 250 GTO sold privately for an estimated $70M in 2018), the title of the world’s most expensive automobile now belongs to an ultra-rare Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé. The significance of this special automobile cannot be overstated. Deeply rooted in performance and credited with developing the world’s very first motor car in 1886, Mercedes-Benz has long been a leader in automotive engineering with notable wins across a vast spectrum of racing disciplines. In 1955, Mercedes-Benz captured the World Sportscar Championship title, with its racewinning 300 SLR model (W196S). Among the season’s accolades was perhaps their most notable win, with legendary racing driver Stirling Moss at the helm of the 300 SLR for the 1,000-mile Mille Miglia event. The team’s record-breaking race time cemented both Moss and the 300 SLR into the history books as true legends of the sport. Fortunately for automotive aficionados, Mercedes-Benz also built two 300 SLR prototype race cars with hardtops that same year. Known as the Uhlenhaut Coupé, these two special vehicles were the only roadready versions of the groundbreaking race car ever made and were named after “the driving engineer” and father of the legendary gull-wing SL model, Rudolf Uhlenhaut, who is said to have driven one as a company car. With a top speed of nearly 180 mph, the Uhlenhaut Coupé was undoubtedly the fastest road car in the world in its day. To secure the sale of the world’s most expensive automobile, Mercedes-Benz partnered with RM Sotheby’s to arrange a top-secret auction. With less than ten handpicked bidders, each interested party had to meet a strict set of criteria and possess the funds needed to complete the purchase. After bidders arrived in Stuttgart by private jet on May 5th, the entire venue remained closed for the next 10 days, with the official public announcement of the $142M winning bid coming on May 19th, 2022. The automaker says proceeds from this unprecedented sale will be donated to create a worldwide “Mercedes-Benz Fund” designed to provide scholarships and educational research into the fields of environmental science and decarbonization. Money well spent.

He learned to incorporate their techniques into his own creations and is now well known for his one-of-a-kind designs. He starts with a stone and builds a design around it to unlock its true destiny.

here comes a time in every hotel aficionado’s travels that one meets and becomes obsessed with a house-exclusive wine they can only enjoy on property. No shipping a case to follow you back home, no tossing aside your hiking boots so you can pack another two bottles in your Rimowa. I have finally met that wine and her name is Cuvée Coquillade. She’s a leggy signature rosé crafted in such rarified small batches, meant to be savored only at Coquillade Provence Resort & Spa, produced by the prestige property’s own vineyard. 36

Sipping a perfectly chilled glass overlooking Coquillade’s ravishing, rolling hills is a wine lover’s dream. The endlessly intriguing 2021 vintage IGP Méditerranée rosé, on its third year of conversion to organic agriculture, offers savory herbaceous notes driving its nose and opulent weight balanced by ripe acidity on the palate. Grenache, Caladoc, and Mourvèdre grapes mingle towards a juicy, fruity core, with floral aromatics at the finish. Talk about a flavor profile to keep one coming back for more. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to reduce acidity, followed by maturation on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. At the time of bottling, the wines are filtered to ensure perfect brilliance and clarity. Wine has been grown in Provence since Roman times. Indeed, grape vines are as much a part of the Provençal landscape as lavender fields and medieval hilltop towns. The Luberon valley, to many Francophile travelers, myself included, is the most authentic and spellbinding enclave of Provence. Time and space have seemingly stood still for centuries, as the French shrewdly slowed development in this region, knowing full well economic prosperity lies in the very fact that medieval structures are left to stand and strike awe in the hearts of thousands of Provençale pilgrims every season. Coquillade encapsulates the alluring charm that has captivated countless visitors throughout the years. This area of France deserves to be delighted in deeply. Don’t dare book two nights in Provence and think you can knock out its “greatest hits” in 48 hours. Far from the Côte d’Azur coastal hustle, Coquillade stands as an overture to the classic French trope of taking your sweet time.

Coquillade’s sun-kissed pride of place location epitomizes the quintessential ideal of a Provençal retreat. After an extensive multimillion-dollar renovation, the enchanting Relais & Châteaux-affiliated resort has reopened in robust full force. The redesign unveils an ingenious new lobby, the exclusive Bar Lalique, freshly updated and renamed restaurants Avelan and Cipressa, as well as stylish new events spaces, Salon Papillon and the tres-chic Grand Gloriette, next to the hotel’s potager for special celebrations. In spring, bask in the scent of jasmine, while spectacular poppy fields as far as the eye can see conjure Monet’s landscape paintings. As a land of glorious countryside figures out its future, Coquillade leads the way with progressive adoption of organic farming practices, a world-class cycling center, and inventive twists on contemporary Provençal elegance. Alain Bachmann, General Manager of Coquillade, greets guests with effortless aplomb, engaging in lively conversation illuminating the locale. I watch him visit with a party at their table—three generations of a family, an F1 driver and his wife and child, as well as his parents—he’s insightful and animated; this hotel captain is clearly enjoying coming out of renovation hiatus. Bachmann confides later in the evening over yet another glass of rosé, “Our repeat guests are indeed reveling in the refurbished spaces and new culinary offerings, but Coquillade remains staunchly committed to its authentic heritage. They come back for the service culture we have established here. We deliver an ever-evolving guest experience meant to stir emotion and ignite the senses.” Issue 3 . 2022 |

Coquillade’s homage to authentic Provençal cuisine alone is worth the pilgrimage. Chef Thierry Enderlin’s mastery of French classics, clever take on tapas, sensuous Italian specialties and array of Thai delights result in a week of happy feasting across the property’s dining venues with zero palette fatigue. Helmed by Enderlin, the former fine dining Restaurant Coquillade has reopened as Avelan, where we indulge in regional flavors for a spot-on epicurean experience that has us swooning. If you are traveling with a party of four to six people, order the seafood bouillabaisse for the best meal of the trip, served tableside with ceremonial precision. Dive into your dinner without a care in the world; the cuisine at Coquillade is expertly paired with full-bodied vintages from the estate’s acclaimed Aureto winery. Aureto’s vines flourish across nearly 90 acres of vineyards, producing a range of cuvées reflecting the soul of the renowned Luberon. Aureto is also the only winery in the region to offer wine tastings in the nearby ancient Broux Mines, providing a sensational glimpse into the region’s rich history. One hardship of a Coquillade stay is choosing between a moveable feast of options on the spa menu. May as well book a facial and a body massage, as both departments are top notch here. Physically speaking, the spa is a gorgeous wellness temple with all the thalassotherapy circuit bells and whistles to revel in before your treatment even starts. The spa’s best asset? Talented staff who do pirouettes to please discerning spa goers.

The first thing you’ll want to do after checking into the spa is get wet. The pool shimmers like a submerged pearl box. Between the opalescent tiles and sparkling sunlight, you’re in for a hypnotic prelude to the perfect spa day. The spa is an immaculate haven within an impossibly gorgeous campus. There’s enough wiggle room in the sprawling steam room and outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the vineyards for a whole bridal party. The Tara Harper facials straddle science and bush craft. Unlike other status facials that rely on resurfacing your face, the orchestration of botany and aromatherapy yields a handmade holistic facial that feeds skin on a deeper level. Each oversize spa suite sprawls out like a perfectly gorgeous pied-à-terre. Yes, you’ve gone to heaven, enjoy!

Your best summer ever awaits with memories to be made around the campfire and unexpected adventures to be discovered. Welcome to Camp Long Creek at Big Cedar Lodge. b i g c e d a r. c o m Issue 3 . 2022 |

Here, they offer wine and cheese pairings and mixology classes using one of Guatemala’s globally recognized exports, Ron Zacapa. Each of the boutique hotel’s nine accommodations offers brightly colored stucco walls, spellbinding Latin American artworks, handcrafted antique furniture, and private terraces boasting sweeping views of the lake’s three majestic volcanoes across the shore. Casa Palopó’s internationally celebrated restaurant, 6.8 Palopó, is run by phenom Chef Marco Saenz. His fresh, seasonal menus are inspired by a passion for culinary technique, local Guatemalan cuisine, and international wines. His talent has retained the eye of Relais & Châteaux and 6.8 Palopó became the first and only Relais-christened

property in the country. Dining al fresco takes on new meaning here, as the veranda transforms into an enchanting enclave where guests admire small boats making their way poetically across the lake; by dusk, colorful candelabras and twinkling lights from Mayan towns that line the shore are simply enchanting. Enjoy immersive, incandescent healing rituals at Palopó’s Balinese-inspired boutique spa and expansive pool deck. Originally built as a private lakeside home, Palopó was turned into a boutique hotel in 2000, and purchased by the current owner – Guatemala native and entrepreneur Claudia Bosch – in 2010. Our favorite spot to kick back in? In the cool Martini Bar, enjoy your cocktail while sitting back in old barber chairs, beside a 1930s jukebox, with an antique trombone that hangs from the ceiling. It doesn’t get any more eclectic-chic than Casa Palopó.

Napa Valley, CA

Darioush Estate Dinner Sunset

Darioush Winery is a visually spellbinding winery founded in 1997 by Iranian born Darioush Khaledi and his wife Shahpar. The couple had spent several years searching for an ideal vineyard site before settling in the southern part of the Napa Valley—in part, encouraged by Robert Mondavi. Their beloved hospitality “palace” was completed in 2004 and was constructed with stunning stones imported from quarries near Shiraz. This property is 33 acres and along with the winery is planted Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. When Darioush purchased the property, vines were planted to Chardonnay and Sangiovese. Grapes for their Signature wines are not used until the vines reach at least 7 to 12 years of age. This is a winery where visitors often stop in for reasons other than wine, notably the incredible scenery as this is one of the “destination wineries” along the Silverado Trail.

ailing on a superyacht is one of the world’s most extravagant and enjoyable pleasures. Embarking on one of these mighty vessels, such as the spacious Silver Yacht BOLD or the elegant and mighty LADY JORGIA from Fraser Yachts, gives passengers the opportunity to press pause on life and relax for a while on the open seas. While some boating enthusiasts love the thrill of yachting so much that they purchase their own vessel, others prefer to charter a superyacht instead. This option allows them to enjoy the perks of these skillfully engineered boats, while skipping maintenance costs. For some boaters, however, simply embarking on a short, chartered cruise to well-worn destinations doesn’t quite satisfy their need for adventure. In fact, the demand for both luxury boating experiences and off-the-beaten-path exploration has, in recent years, given rise to a popular concept within the yacht chartering industry: expedition yachting.

“Yachting is going through quite an impressive boom, triggered by the pandemic and the need for many people to escape and experience something new.” - Raphael Sauleau, CEO of Fraser Yachts

(Pictured: Fraser Yachts, LA DATCHA)

The concept of expedition yachting is simple: Travelers commission a high-end superyacht, but instead of staying close to shore, they embark on longer journeys to far-flung destinations, exploring the ends of the Earth—all in the lap of luxury. Instead of navigating familiar waters, expedition yachts allow passengers to sail to untapped locations, such as the otherworldly icescapes of Antarctica, the warm and pristine waters of the Eastern Mediterranean, or the breathtaking jungles of the South Pacific. All the while, they can enjoy cozy accommodations, a crew that caters to their every need, and, of course, spectacular views. Some superyacht companies can even take patrons on underwater journeys in miniature submersibles, giving them a glimpse into unseen worlds beneath the ocean’s surface. With its limitless destination options, this exhilarating and over-the-top industry will satisfy any adventurer’s need for unforgettable travel—without leaving the comforts of home onshore.

Perhaps no other location on Earth is as secluded and surreal as Antarctica. Traveling to the White Continent on a chartered superyacht promises awe-inspiring encounters with towering icebergs, pristine glaciers, and hordes of majestic penguins. Several expedition yacht companies host regular excursions to this untouched region of the world during the summer months, facilitating a once-in-a-lifetime experience with top-notch amenities. The Isle of Man-based EYOS, for example, frequently helps patrons channel their inner Ernest Shackleton, transporting them to the southernmost regions of the world so they can whale watch and explore the Antarctic wilderness on foot. Some highlights from EYOS’s superyacht expeditions include kite surfing on the frozen plains, Antarctic rock climbing, and taking an airplane ride to the South Pole. These and many other adventures await all who step on board this posh yachting expedition, which boasts cozy cabins and professional service with a distinctly Antarctic ambience.

If a cold Antarctic expedition isn’t what you are looking for, then a superyacht trip across the wondrous Mediterranean might satisfy your need for warmth, adventure, and relaxation. This region is known for its crystal-clear oceans, equatorial climate, sumptuous cuisine, and thriving nightlife. Charter yacht companies, like IYC, offer a whole range of excursions across the Mediterranean, from the historic isles of Greece to the spectacular—and glamorous—Italian coasts. Another expedition idea on offer involves visiting Monaco and watching racers compete in the famed Monaco Grand Prix. Passengers can also spend some time docking in Greece to partake in the local hospitality and the country’s worldclass restaurants. IYC boasts a range of superyacht options with different features for a Mediterranean cruise, from the sprawling sundecks of the PARVATI to the spacious living quarters of the KASSANDRA. That way, patrons of all types will find a vessel that suits their needs and lifestyle. For those looking to travel far away from home and get lost in nature, a visit to the Pacific Island Vanuatu, also with EYOS charter yachts, presents numerous possibilities for sightseeing and cross-cultural experiences. This lush and vibrant island is home to towering volcanoes, thick jungles, and sunny weather year-round. The locals are incredibly welcoming and friendly, performing traditional dances and ceremonies for visitors and educating them about their time-honored traditions. The surrounding oceans are also a fantastic spot for scuba diving and snorkeling activities, immersing participants in an alternative aquatic world where spectacular fish and sea life dance and swim around them. Surreal and spectacular, a superyacht trip to Vanuatu is a life-changing adventure, with luxurious onboard amenities and priceless encounters with the island’s history, people, and culture.

The experience is truly oneof-a-kind, and now, many superyacht chartering services are making submersibles a staple of their fleet, enhancing their customers’ experience at sea. From the far-flung icescapes of Antarctica to the tropical paradise of the Pacific Ocean, expedition yachts open up bold new opportunities for living luxuriously while exploring the more rugged regions of our planet. With topof-the-line features, an endless array of activities, and plenty of space to relax and unwind, the expedition yacht industry is likely to thrive in the years to come, transporting discerning passengers to new frontiers of style, luxury, and class.

f the car you drive says a lot about who you are, shouldn’t your living accommodations be an extension of your personality as well? There’s a new movement rising in the upper echelon world of the most sought-after luxury living spaces. Designer-branded residences are taking over the skies of major metropolises, as luxury namesakes from across the spectrum compete for market share in today’s ultra-fast-paced real estate realm. At the forefront of this burgeoning craze sits one innovative developer who’s taken his passion for automobiles to the next level with luxury branded residences that extend well beyond traditional real estate. Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development, is making waves in the hotly competitive luxury high-rise development industry with his ambitious efforts to transform the quiet seaside town of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, into the quintessential luxury lifestyle destination. After achieving success as a developer in bustling New York, Dezer made

Dezer is a passionate owner of several high-value supercars, including a Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 918. (This love of opulent automobiles is shared by his father Michael, whose personal collection once boasted more than 1,500 rare and unique vehicles and led to the 2012 opening of The Dezer Car Collection and Museum in Miami, Florida). With a unique strategy of “doing things no one else is doing,” the visionary developer sought to incorporate his enthusiasm for luxury cars into a new form of high-end residences while also helping revitalize the landscape of the South Florida coastline. His novel approach and successful track record in leveraging luxury brand partnerships helped the developer form a relationship with the Porsche Design Group in 2012, which quickly led to a master licensing agreement with the German-based design team to expand the marquee brand into the luxury real estate market. He tells Jetset, “I saw the power of branding immediately, and when I heard that the Porsche Design people were looking to do a tower, I jumped all over them and made a deal immediately.” The revolutionary 60-story Porsche Design Tower was officially opened in 2017 and prominently features its automotive influence. The cutting-edge building has earned global acclaim, largely thanks to a first-of-its-kind automobile elevator system, patented under the name of the clever developer as the Dezervator. his way to South Florida and set out on a mission to forever change the luxury landscape. We sat down with the highly-accomplished developer following the announcement of his latest project, The Bentley Residences, to learn more about his one-of-a-kind living spaces and what he sees as the future of luxury branded real estate. Dezer is following in the footsteps of his widely successful father, Michael Dezer. He tells us, “I grew up in a real estate family where property and markets were talked about at the dinner table. My father started converting buildings in New York City in the 1970’s, and building new construction is what I brought to the company as we evolved to become developers in all asset classes.” Upon relocating to the Sunshine State, Dezer’s company embarked on its first Sunny Isles Beach venture – with none other than Donald Trump, to develop the six luxury oceanfront buildings that make up Trump Towers and the Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences. Dezer Development was the first in its industry to license the Trump brand and quickly realized the potential and advantages of working with a globally recognized name.

adjacent to their high-rise condominium and cements the Tower as a place where opulent living intersects with penthouse-style units and gallery-like showcasing. Further adding to the experience, residents are each assigned a dedicated “Car Concierge” to tend to their vehicles, including valet services and regular maintenance. While the stunning sports car-inspired skyscraper is more than worthy of admiration on its own, the addition of the ingenious in-unit garages and patented Dezervator are certainly notable highlights on the long list of the Porsche Design Tower’s luxury amenities. When asked

how he came up with the idea for the groundbreaking technology, Dezer says, “The Dezervator came about by a process where every NO got us closer to a YES. Car lifts have been around forever but were never designed to carry a passenger in the car, and as we sat down with the various governing bodies, elevator departments, fire department, and put in all the requirements, the elevator took shape and we patented it as Dezervator.” The pioneering developer further observes, “Everything was a challenge. From the motors used to achieve the speed of 800 ft./min. to the fire department allowing us to park a car full of gasoline on the 50th floor of a building, we had to prove our case using various methods, including enlisting Underwriters Laboratory to certify the entire elevator system.” Dezer was also instrumental in the development of a very different branded project with revered fashion house Armani. The luxurious, 56-story oceanfront Residences by Armani/Casa features 308 elegantly adorned residential units with interiors by the legendary Italian designer Giorgio Armani. Joining forces with awardwinning landscape designer Enzo Enea and architect Cesar Pelli, the immaculate Residences by Armani/ Casa has seemingly influenced other fashion labels to embark on real estate endeavors as well, with household names such as Fendi and Versace already hopping on the trend to develop their own branded properties. Speaking on his experience working with the respected designer, Dezer tells us, “Using fashion designers to cre-

ate interior spaces was a very interesting process. Both sides learned a lot throughout the process, and really created some interiors that are so spectacular that it will probably not be seen again for a long time. The attention to detail there was so great that the Italian team did not trust the skill set of local laborers and flew in groups from Italy to execute their vision.” For its forthcoming project, Dezer Development will spearhead the creation of yet another luxury tower on Sunny Isles Beach. Expected to open in 2026, The Bentley Residences will feature four-car in-unit garages and the one-of-a-kind robotic Dezervator to give residents direct access to their vehicles, regardless of which floor of the 62-story building they choose for their well-heeled abode. Although one of the youngest and most successful developers of high-rise residential and condo-hotel properties in the US, Dezer’s creations are not without competition. The 4.6 million square-foot real estate development of nearly 8,000 sumptuous apartments bearing the Lamborghini name was perhaps the most extravagant and extreme example of a luxury branded residential project to date. Although the project was scrapped in search of a better opportunity to enter the Dubai market, Lamborghini is already in talks with several other developers to launch similar projects in Brazil, Pakistan, and Vietnam. No matter which high-rise style suits your personal taste, one thing is certain: branded residences are here to stay and stand as the hottest trend in contemporary luxury real estate. And while Dezer’s future plans to develop additional luxury projects might remain top secret for the time being, he’s confident the movement will continue to grow with everyone from Apple to Coca-Cola eventually jumping on the bandwagon.

ach year, the Miss Jetset Competition brings together women inspired by female leaders and empowered by the pursuit of excellence. The 2022 finalists are no exception. Each has a unique story to share in hopes of enlightening and encouraging other ladies to get up every morning and seize every opportunity that comes their way.

Jessica Ceballos did just that when pursuing the Miss Jetset crown. This powerhouse woman has spent her life setting goals and crushing them, one after another. She is an absolute boss babe who has created a life she’s always envisioned through hard work and determination. She will now go down in history as the winner of the 2022 Miss Jetset Competition. It hasn’t always been easy for this go-getter. When Ceballos was 17, she bought a car and put herself through school. She did everything herself. Now, not surprisingly, Ceballos owns her own business, Spanish Barbie & Company, a boutique with a private showroom open exclusively to models, clothing designers, and celebrities. “They call me Spanish Barbie because I am obsessed with pink and because of the way I look. But Barbie literally does everything: She’s a mom, a |

news reporter, a doctor, an astronaut, a cafe owner,” she said. Ceballos, however, is very real and can be found doing a variety of projects at one time and succeeding at all of them. “I feel really accomplished for the things I’ve done and the things I’m going to do,” she said. On top of owning the boutique, Ceballos is obtaining a real estate license so she can pursue her next big dream of being a million-dollar listing agent worldwide. “Over the next 10 years, I’m going to keep growing and have a financial status where I can just enjoy life. You have to be committed, dedicated, believe, and take your chance. You also have to walk in faith.” Along with making considerable donations to their church, Ceballos and her supportive husband, Enoch, have plans to build many churches with built-in business centers to give homeless people tools to live.

Issue 3 . 2022 |

While Ceballos is building her empire, her greatest accomplishment is being a mom of two and a step mom of five. She is, first, a mother and wife, but she is also everything else. “When I first started my boutique, I learned how to sew and was making my own clothes. I do marketing, packaging, and customer service. I’m a perfectionist, and I like to get things done the way I want.” Now modeling is part of her journey, as well. “Modeling fits right in because if I have new releases and new collections, I jump right in to show them off.” Maybe it’s because she’s stunning or perhaps because she gives trust only to people who deserve it, but Ceballos often gets mistaken for being everything but her true self: honest, patient, approachable, determined, inspiring, successful, beautiful, and simply a nice person. Ceballos also has a little hidden talent that is not so small. “Did you ever watch the show ‘That’s so Raven’? That’s me. I have this weird thing where if something goes missing or if something is off, it just comes to me. I get a vision. It comes into play with his [Enoch’s] business and if he’s making moves,” she said. Ceballos believes in manifestation and making her dreams a reality. To her, it’s all about faith and walking with God. “Knowing that I have the strength of God behind me pushes me forward. I love knowing that I have that support for me. We know it’s not us; it’s a calling on us.” Let’s not avoid the fact that this doll is still a little “Extra,” but in a fabulous way—she loves glitter, diamonds, jewels, and everything pink (she has a 10c diamond ring with a pink diamond set in the middle). “I used to put everybody first. But the older I get, I have to put myself first. I have to make myself happy before I can make everyone else happy.” The biggest thing Ceballos can take away from the competition is learning how much support she has. “I never asked anyone for help, but I got it in a big way. I want to give a shoutout to my sister-in-law, Naomi, and my actual sister, Nancy, who probably felt like she competed because she was right there with me. I couldn’t have done this without my number one supporter, my husband. And then my 15-year-old, Zackery, told all of his high school friends to do the daily vote. My two stepsons, Elijah and Isaiah, came through at the end of the competition. My mom, Maria Candy, is another person I want to mention. She said, ‘You’re a dreaming girl; you always follow your dreams, so you do you.’ I couldn’t be more grateful for the other competitors who supported me, too.” With everything she does, Ceballos looks to inspire little girls around the world. @spanish.barbiedoll Issue 3 . 2022 |

he has stars in her eyes and sunshine in her soul—that’s what you might say to yourself when meeting the sweet Karina Bosnjak. This sophisticated beauty is 18 going on 28—very wise beyond her years. Bosnjak is beyond a triple threat being that she is a leader, scholar, humanitarian, actress, dancer, and model. Her unique look can be defined as romance meets exotic, probably due to her French and Croatian background. She has been modeling for four years and has no plans to stop doing lifestyle shoots for magazines and advertisements. Hailing from British Columbia, CA, Bosnjak is currently looking for an agent closer to home.

Issue 3 . 2022 |

Outside of performing, Bosnjak is on a mission and life path to coach people struggling with mental health. “Helping others achieve their wellbeing in life is a goal of mine. I want to be a social worker to help my community—especially the youth. I struggled through my own mental health stuff, so I want to tell people they are not alone with it. Sometimes when you’re in that mental state, you think no one understands. But, there are people who are going through the same exact thing. I want to be able to help kids at a younger age so, as they get older, they know how to work through it and work through the hard times,” she said. “I currently volunteer at a Big Brothers Big Sisters program and will be at the University of Fraser Valley in September to start my social work journey.” Bosnjak is a family girl who is close with her mom, Marina, and her dad, Tony. Marina describes her daughter as a smart, persistent leader who knows what she wants. She is a bubbly social butterfly. Being well-traveled, Bosnjak has seen and experienced different cultures, making her a more well-rounded, understanding individual. She may be young, but she has already lived enough to offer sound advice. To her younger self, she’d say, “Don’t listen to what other people have to say about you. I wasn’t really liked in middle and elementary school—I don’t know why. I look at some of the people who bullied me, and I see where I am now. I am living my best life. Continue focusing on yourself.” Not bad advice for people of any age. In her spare time, Bosnjak loves to do arts and crafts, and puzzles. “I love the feeling of accomplishment.” She also just started playing softball on a beer league team. “I’m not very good, but I’m having fun with it. I also like going on hikes, boating, and sitting outside to enjoy nature. And I love listening to music; it’s my form of self-care,” she said. “Thanks to everyone who supported me and came through the whole journey with me. Thanks to everyone on the Miss Jetset team for giving me this opportunity. I may not have gotten first place, but I still won in my eyes. Never give up on yourself. It may get hard but break through that wall.” @Karina_Bosnjak

“Go for what you want and never look back. This advice applies in any area of your life. There will always be challenges, but the most important thing is to learn from them and move forward with it.” Introducing the ever-ambitious Samira Lougue, who has put extensive time and energy into furthering herself and securing a successful future. “In everything I do, this is the mindset I have; I just want to keep moving forward. Everything might not be easy, and there will be challenges, but I need to be able to work with that because that is what makes me stronger and makes me a better person,” she said. Lougue came to America in 2015 from Burkina Faso, a small country in western Africa. She did one year in Ghana, where she learned most of her English, then studied at Savannah State University and later moved to Maryland to eventually graduate from the University of Maryland. Lougue has her sights set on becoming an orthodontist but wouldn’t mind sharing her baking skills or becoming a makeup artist. She is a lifelong learner who has spent so much of her time going to school that she’s ready to go big with modeling. With her statuesque presence, sultry gaze, and curls for days, Lougue has a look as unique as a blue diamond. “I’ve always wanted to be a model, but I haven’t had the time, to be honest. I have always been a full-time student and have also worked part-time, taking winter and summer classes. Now that I’ve graduated, I’m waiting to start dental school next year. I’m trying to see how far I can go into modeling and how far I have to adjust my schedule when I go to school again. But honestly, I want to be in magazines and advertisements,” she revealed. Lougue is fluent in French, English, and Dyula, and she enjoys learning about chemistry and biology for fun. She loves traveling, so she continues to find joy in exploring different locations worldwide. Lougue also has an adventurous side and plans to try all the adrenaline-filled activities—indoor skydiving, parasailing—at least once, maybe twice. Her family has been her biggest supporters throughout the competition (and life in general). Her dad always pushes her to do better than he did in school. “I’m their first child, so he told me it’s like a train: You see the head of the train, and wherever the train goes, that’s where the rest will go. So, you are the head of this family. Wherever you go, that’s where your siblings will go, so make sure you go in the right direction,” she said. Lougue would like to thank her family, friends, and community for their support throughout the competition. She has set herself up for success and can’t wait to hear the words, “That girl from Burkina Faso made it!” @louguesamira

inger, dancer, actress, model, influencer, clothing designer, graphic designer—Marissa Bennett is a creative powerhouse who will stop at nothing to get where she wants to be. “I don’t mind hard work; I’m motivated and determined when it comes to work ethic,” she said. Being a finalist has been a dream come true for this travel enthusiast. Bennett enjoys the finer things in life, but she also has a down-to-earth demeanor and a loving heart. She feels very strongly about humanitarian work and plans to start a business in that field. The charitable component of the competition was essential to her. “My dad had cancer, and he beat it. When I read the story about Andrew McDonough and the B+ Foundation, I was sold. I also have a daughter, Aria, who was born with half of a heart. It gives me goosebumps because something so small can trigger something so big. So, what meant more to me was the cause—between having family with cancer and because I have a medical-needs daughter,” she said. Bennett resides in Richmond, MI, with her supportive boyfriend, her daughter, Aria, and their Husky, Luna. She would like to thank all of her supporters, especially Michael Falsetti, who has been with her from the beginning. @marissabennett_jetset

ny successful team has a few utility players, those who can perform well in several roles. One of the best utility players in the MLB was Ben Zobrist of the Tampa Bay Rays. He seamlessly moved between infield and outfield positions, from pitcher to second baseman to right-fielder to shortstop, delivering stellar performances along the way. Players like Zobrist are the secret (or not-so-secret) weapon teams need to win. The same holds true in business, where utility players can not only be people, but inspired strategies like differentiation. The concept of differentiation is often associated with products. How is one product different from all the others on the market? It might be a design feature, superior engineering or a special capability. But differentiation is at its strongest when used as a company’s utility player—one that goes beyond a product to other areas that also add uniqueness and value. Products may come and go, based on demand, changing markets or copycat competitors. A differentiation strategy that goes deeper into an organization, however, is significantly more sustainable. 80

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE The customer experience is a universal opportunity for differentiation, no matter the industry you’re in or the service you provide. The company that bends over backwards to ensure the experience is outstanding will differentiate itself from those who have very little focus on what happens after the sale. Anyone who owns an Apple product knows about their “Genius Bar” tech support group. The brand continually tops lists of companies with the best customer service. For them, differentiation goes past just their products, deeper into the experience.

THE STORY Every company has a unique story to tell. Is it a brand with a 100-year legacy? Has the company been family-owned for generations? Is there something unique about its location? What sparked its founding? What values was it built upon that remain today? Every brand should have a narrative about its history and heritage. It’s a feature they can own that differentiates them from any other company in the world.

THE UNIQUE FACTOR Some of the most successful companies have a unique ingredient or process for creating their products. It might be a proprietary grain or a more expensive component competitors don’t use. Maybe it’s a piece of state-of-the-art equipment that allows you to make a type of product not readily available elsewhere. A unique process or added step to ensure the highest levels of quality are other ways to stand out from the competition. THE TEAM The people behind a brand and its products or services are also a powerful differentiating force. They bring a unique set of personalities, skills, certifications and education that can’t be replicated. Whether customer-facing or behind the scenes, employees can drive their company’s uniqueness. Brand Specialists or Brand Ambassadors are great examples of how many brands are differentiating themselves. These experts are trained on a company’s unique differentiators. They are skilled at sharing the brand story and delivering consistent, elevated customer experiences. A Brand Specialist could also be uniquely trained to work with vendors. Amazon’s Amazonians are skilled specialists that work with the online giant’s vendors to help them promote their brands and products. EXCLUSIVITY It may sound counterintuitive, but making a product or service scarce is a strategy that can differentiate a brand. Limit the number of a certain product being made or only offer it at certain times of the year. If you’re a whisky drinker, The Macallan luxury Scotch whisky introduces limited-edition expressions every year that you can’t find anywhere else. These unique releases differentiate the brand and make it a much-sought-after spirit. Differentiation should be a holistic strategy that permeates an entire company, from products to processes to people and beyond. Unleash differentiation as your brand’s utility player to amplify uniqueness and market share. It’s a team player that can make your company the all-time champion. Issue 3 . 2022 |

Altitude // Estates

’m a true believer in real estate. It’s hard to find an asset class that will hedge against inflation more reliably. I’ve been investing in multifamily properties for pretty much my entire adult life, due to their consistency and reliability. While my enthusiasm for multifamily properties remains strong, I’ve also discovered other types of real estate that offer the same advantages of long-term passive income while edging out inflation.

As a real estate investor, I have learned to see opportunities where others don’t. Over the course of my career, it’s become increasingly clear that there are milliondollar ideas all around us that we tend to ignore. Without a doubt, you’ve passed by data centers, industrial real estate and billboards without giving them a second thought, but each of these can offer incredible revenue streams.

DATA CENTERS While you’ve probably never set foot in a data center, you are using one every time you go online. Data centers are home to the technological infrastructure that allows all online activity to take place. Data centers can be a building, a dedicated space within a building, or a group of buildings used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. Data centers have unique requirements that make owning one more expensive. It costs about $1,000 per square foot to build your own data center, and that doesn’t include the added cost of having fiber optic cable installed to reach it, which will typically run over $10,000 per mile. That buy-in is typically too expensive for most, but accredited investors can still invest in data centers through private investment funds specializing in them. One thing is certain: the demand for data centers is not going to slow down. After record growth in 2021, data centers are being built as fast as possible to keep up with demand. According to projections by the International Data Corporation, data usage is expected to grow at 24 percent per year compounded through 2025.

INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE As is the case with data centers, the pandemic accelerated the already-high demand for industrial real estate. When online shopping shifted from a convenience to a necessity, the demand for warehouse space and e-commerce fulfillment centers exploded. Industrial real estate in coastal markets has played a major role in e-commerce, but space near the ports is limited. In 2021, rents for industrial real estate shot up by 33 percent near port cities in California and the northeast. The scarcity of inventory in these areas has often led to bidding wars and has forced developers to consider other areas far from ports. In an effort to solve the industrial real estate shortage, retailers and developers have moved inland, creating what is known as the Golden Triangle of industrial real estate. While the name may evoke pricey coastal markets, the Golden Triangle actually stretches through the south and Midwest between Illinois, Texas and Georgia. Once goods arrive at a port city, they’re put on trucks or trains and sent off to one of the many new warehouses in this region. Issue 3 . 2022 |

According to a report by Deloitte, industrial real estate demand is expected to increase by 850 million square feet, to 14.8 billion square feet, by 2023. Much like residential real estate, the supply of industrial real estate is barely keeping up with demand. In the first quarter of 2022, the vacancy rate for industrial real estate reached an all-time low of 4.1 percent.

BILLBOARDS For me, billboards are the ultimate example of a milliondollar idea that’s buried in plain sight. I speak from experience, as I have owned billboards and know firsthand what a great investment they are. While data centers and industrial real estate have tenants, in the case of billboards, your tenants are the advertisers paying for your space. Billboards aren’t the most cutting-edge form of advertising, but they are still tremendously attractive to advertisers. That’s because per viewer, billboards are the least expensive. A static billboard ad costs from $2 to $10 per one thousand impressions (or views), while a digital billboard costs from $9 to $32 for the same number of impressions. The location of your billboard will determine how much you can charge advertisers.

“ In 2021, rents for industrial real estate shot up by 33 percent near port cities in California and the northeast.” About four years ago, my business partner and I acquired a billboard located across from a stadium in downtown Phoenix and we bought it for $275,000. The billboard was two-sided, so we put ads on each side. We were making a good cash flow as a static billboard, but then we decided to take it a step further and turn the billboard digital. That allowed us to rent to multiple advertisers at the same time. After turning it into a digital billboard, our monthly revenue skyrocketed. Recently, my partner and I decided it was time to sell the billboard. Our profit from the time of purchase to the time of sale turned out to be one million dollars. While I have to admit that I hadn’t been especially interested in billboards prior to that experience, I have always been open to learning more about potential opportunities. Even now, just driving by a nondescript building can pique my interest. My invitation to you is to look for the million-dollar idea that’s right in front of you.

ach of us has the intrinsic capacity to make a meaningful difference in the world, to contribute something original and impactful, possibly in the form of a scientific truth or technological discovery that serves and that leaves a lasting mark upon hearts and minds of millions of human beings across the planet. This great potential for contribution may be lying dormant within you, or it may be revealed already through your many greatly disseminated and appreciated discoveries. How inspired are you to make such a lasting and meaningful impact, or even another great mark, with the time you still have allotted? How do you imagine your posthumous biography to read and how perseverant and patient do you intend to be at leaving your unique contribution or mark into the future? In the last days of your life, you just might be asking yourself: Did I do everything I could with everything I was given? Did I live my life to the fullest and did I contribute my greatest and most original, creative or ingenious idea or service to the world? You just may want to be able to say: Yes! Absolutely! I gave it my all, or I lived my creative life to the fullest. |

When you first identify and then stick to your highest priority action steps each day, ones that help you fulfill your most inspiring mission and vision of contribution, ones that are truly deeply meaningful and fulfilling, you can begin to build up an incremental momentum in your achievements. You can naturally expand your space and time horizons out beyond even your own life in a way that can contribute something original and that can potentially help you leave your multigenerational immortal legacy. It has been stated by great minds for centuries that you can measure individuals by the clarity and depth of their intentions and their most distant objectives or ends. Of course, those that do fulfill such meaningful and enduring paths of pursuit, those that do follow their unborrowed visions, who are original and who blaze new trails, often become challenged and resisted by those who don’t do this. Greatness is often confronted and resisted for years or decades by mediocre minds, a phenomenon that has been described by the following individuals: “Men can be divided into two groups: one that goes ahead and achieves something, and one that comes after and criticizes.” Seneca

“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.” Albert Einstein “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, then you win.” Mohandas Ghandi

“First, a new theory is attacked as absurd. Second, it is admitted to be true but obvious and insignificant. Third, it is seen to be so important that its adversaries claim that they themselves discovered it.” William James – Pragmatism 1907

“Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received—hatred and resistance. The great creators, the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors—stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they ‘suffered’ and they paid. But they won. Their truth, their work, their goal was their primary motive and life. They held their truth above all things and against all men. Their vision, their strength and their courage came from their own interminable spirit. They were prime movers who lived for their cause. Only by living for their own cause were they able to achieve the things which are the glory of mankind.” Ayn Rand

You are ever engaged in the dual activity of making perceptual observations and then seeking grounding explanations of your resulting revelations. The making of your observations constitutes your empirical or factual component, and your systemic attempt to explain these facts constitutes your theoretical and principle component. Both activities are essential for your mastery of life and for the making of your most unique contribution to the world. Many of the greatest ideas in philosophy and science have waited centuries for even indirect confirmation. And the history of philosophy and science is full of propositions and theories which were pronounced dead, then resurrected, then pronounced dead again, only to celebrate another triumphant comeback. That is why perseverance and patience are both essential for birthing great and contributive ideas and having them take root in the everlasting hearts of humankind, regardless of the area of life they are destined to impact. Altitude // Inspire FOR EXAMPLE: The Greek philosophers Leucippus and Democritus postulated that matter was comprised of atoms in the fourth century B.C. and much later, John Dalton introduced his atomic theory to chemistry in the 19th century. But it was still in 1906, more than two millennia later, that physicist Ludwig Boltzmann committed suicide, in part because he was mercilessly ridiculed for believing in such atoms, for which there was still no direct and absolute proof yet established. Just as Aristotle and a series of other ancient philosophers proposed an evolutionary theory more than 2,300 years ago, it was not until Charles Darwin documented and reported the evidence that supported such an evolutionary theory in a way that made it valid did it become eventually embraced as a viable or useful movement and school of thought. Even in the first half of the 19th century, the theory of evolution was mired in conjecture until he and Alfred Russell Wallace compiled a body of evidence and posited a mechanism—natural selection—for powering the evolution machine.

“What intensive yearning do you have to discover the undiscovered and to initiate the uninitiated?” - Dr. Demartini

Just as Nicholas of Cusa looked at infinity and promptly declared, ‘terra non est centra mundi,’ which means ‘the earth is not the center of the universe,’ the church did not yet realize how dangerous and how revolutionary this idea truly was. It was not until the time of mathematician Georg Cantor, who expressed his opposition to widespread views on the mathematical infinite, that any form of formal appreciation for infinity even begun to be generally acknowledged. James Clerk Maxwell’s discovery that visible light was one of the electromagnetic waves traveling at the speed of light (not instantaneously) was so revolutionary that his idea was ignored for many years in the physics departments of most universities. Instead, professors stuck to teaching the classical physics of Newton. In 1783, John Michell, an amateur British astronomer, proposed the idea of an object with gravity strong enough to prevent light from escaping. In 1795, Pierre-Simon Laplace, a French physicist independently came to the same conclusion. In 1939, J. R. Oppenheimer published a prediction of the existence of a black hole, which no one |

took seriously for many years. But its existence was now finally photographically confirmed through radio astronomy just days before this very writing. In 1832, Evariste Galois, the child prodigy who made groundbreaking discoveries very young, wrote in a candlelit room in the middle of the night on the eve of his death at age 20 a completed manuscript on the symmetries of numbers. In essence, it was his love letter to humanity in which he shared his dazzling discoveries, which now have become wonders of the world. Galois was far ahead of his time. His ideas were so radical that his contemporaries could not initially understand them. His papers were rejected by the French Academy of Sciences, and it took almost fifty years for the work to be published and appreciated by other mathematicians. His work is now considered as one of the great pillars of modern mathematics. Svante Arrhenius uncovered the relationship between electricity and chemistry in 1883 but was doubted and rejected by the scientific community of his time. Only after gradually winning over the minds of the scientists for twenty years did he finally receive his Nobel Prize in 1903. Einstein’s particle theory of light was not accepted for two decades. Eight, eleven and seventeen years after the publication of Einstein’s paper, even respected physicists such as Max Planck, Robert A. Millikan and Niels Bohr were still rejecting it.

Altitude // Inspire Sigmund Freud’s book, “The Interpretation of Dreams,” one of the most influential works in history, took over a decade to become famous. Only 600 copies of the first edition ever sold the first eight years. The theory of continental drift, proposed in 1915 by Alfred Wegener, was not accepted by most scientists until the 1960s, with the discovery of mid-oceanic ridges, geomagnetic patterns corresponding to continental plate movement and plate tectonics as the driving motor. Charles T. R. Wilson’s cloud chamber method for making the paths of electrically-charged particles (electrons and positrons) visible by condensation of vapor was not acknowledged and accepted for 15 years—not until a deeper understanding of the atomic structure had been obtained. Barbara McClintock’s discovery of mobile genetic elements (transposons), which she published in the 1940s and 1950s, was not recognized for more than 30 years until she received the Nobel Prize in 1983. It has been stated that some of the greatest advances in human understanding came about when some of the most brilliant minds spotted analogies between subjects that were already well understood and others still quite mysterious—at the junction of the known and unknown. In addition, it has been noticed that it has also taken an exceptionally talented mind to be able to strike that fine balance between too much indiscriminate analogizing on the one hand and sterile blindness to fruitful analogies on the other. It is only the quality of their inspirations that has separated the fruitful researcher and the raving crank. What kind of daring individual is within you to break with such venerable customs as these great individuals have? What intensive yearning do you have to discover the undiscovered and to initiate the uninitiated? As Sir Isaac Newton stated, “I now leave my finished and unfinished work for the next generations to carry on.” It is you that represents the next generation. There is inherently a part of you that believes in the power of your own truly inspiring and original ideas, creative ideas that could be used repeatedly without ever becoming depleted, ideas that you could use without diminishing the ability of others using them. You may

believe that some of your ideas are meant to become available to all of humanity and not just for you who discovered them. This may be one of the reasons why you feel called to dedicate your life to your world vision, message and mission of dissemination and service. In the ‘end,’ you are only known by the impact you have had on others. “I have glorified Thee on earth. I have finished the work that Thou gavest me to do. I have manifested Thy Name to the men whom Thou hast given me out to the world.” Saint Therese

Historically, there were very few individuals over the generations who have had ideas that were sufficiently original to materially alter the direction of civilization. But the potential to be one of these few individuals lies within you. “Behind it all is surely an idea so simple, so beautiful so compelling that when—in a decade, a century, a millennium—we grasp it, we will say to each other, how could it have been otherwise? How can we have been so blind for so long?” John Archibald Wheeler

“Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations, produced by enthusiastic effort and infinite labor in every country of the world. All this is put into your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it. Honor it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children. Thus do we mortals achieve immortality in the permanent things, which we create in common. If you always keep this in mind you will find a meaning in life and work and acquire the right attitude toward other nations and ages.” Albert Einstein

What kind of human being are you if your mind does not span the universe and your thoughts do not race beyond the limits of your present terrestrial sphere of life? May you be perseverant and patient and may you leave your unique and lasting legacy.

“Men can be divided into two groups: one that goes ahead and achieves something, and one that comes after and criticizes.” - Seneca

The Message in a Bottle collection by Winch Design consists of three extremely diverse graphics. The topic among these NFTs is B.O.B. (Bio Observation Bottle) and oceanography maritime exploration pods. 92

NFTs have quickly become one of the most popular blockchain-based trends. Non-fungible tokens were widespread in 2021, some selling for millions of dollars with prominent companies, individuals and brands like Gucci, Adidas, Tom Brady, and Visa all participating in the new economy. NFTs offer a fresh and unique way to showcase your brand’s mission in the digital sphere, providing new methods of consumer and community engagement. As credentials of authenticity are often standard practice when purchasing high-priced items like artwork, antiques, and collectibles, NFTs work as cryptographic assets on a blockchain with unique identification codes and metadata that distinguish them from each other. A simple analogy is to consider them a form of proof of digital authentication. By leveraging this new form of stored value within digital

fossil fuel-dependent world towards a cleaner prosperous approach to our future. The third and final piece of NFT art reveals B.O.B. getting lifted by HALO, an aircraft idea designed by Winch Design. HALO is by far the most environmentally friendly method for transporting B.O.B. to the seas, as it’s propelled utilizing energy from the wind. When HALO reaches its destination, it descends and begins clearing the ocean of plastic debris, and simultaneously producing power via the engine atop the vessel. Cloud Yachts, the pioneer in the NFT yachting sector, will facilitate this NFT auction, and all profits will be donated to Oceans Without Borders and Yachts for Science. It’s a statement to the global community about the significance of environmental oceanic stewardship.

artwork, brands are attracting new audiences and relevant consumers to their products, services, and overall mission. One such brand that is finding success utilizing NFTs to raise awareness for their mission is Winch Design, in partnership with Boat International and Cloud Yachts. Winch Design has issued its first ever batch of artwork NFTs with all proceeds supporting ocean conservation. It’s the world’s first yacht NFT to raise money for this important cause. The first piece of the Winch Design artwork trilogy focuses on the bottle itself; the bottle-shaped exterior represents plastic waste throughout the ocean waters, whereas the circular interior core represents Earth and the obligation to preserve it. The second piece in the collection depicts B.O.B. atop an oil tanker to signify the transformation from a toxic,

Recognizing this digital medium as a new style of storytelling and communication has a big effect on positive brand recognition as consumers get to obtain a piece of your company or organization’s history. Creating digital copies of your brand’s particular items and minting them as NFTs is another option to increase awareness using this new technology. Your company can even generate and experiment with new items that have yet to launch in order to test their viability and determine whether they will be a success in their intended market. NFTs enable companies with exceptional content and digitalized goods to establish hyper-distinctive experiences on NFT powered platforms. Moreover, they provide the optimal entryway for businesses to easily scale and extend their marketing-messaging across metaverses. Issue 3 . 2022 |
