Since first being built in 1867 Kylemore Abbey has mainained a sense of place, of hospitality, and of heritage. The use of Irish-sourced wood and stone in the castle and the estate's keen sense of self-sustainability from the 1800s survive to this day through its owners & custodians of the past 100 years; The Benedictine Nuns. Informed by their ethos of work, craft, enterprise, and hospitality, Kylemore Abbey has developed a range of world renowned handmade chocolates, soaps, jams, and pottery, as well as providing the inspiration for a range of locally crafted high quality products produced exclusively for Kylemore Abbey

Behind each handmade Kylemore Abbey product is a member of the Kylemore team who has been inspired by the estate to apply their talent and create a unique, beautiful treasure for you to enjoy. Guided by their ethos "Pray & Work", the Benedictine nuns have led the way in creating soap, chocolate, cards, and books for many years. Now they are joined by a talented team which includes local chefs, artists, and past pupils of the Kylemore School to make these beautiful and unique products.

Taking inspiration from the many sheep who wander the Kylemore estate, the Kylemore Sheep Soap combines the fun shape with a delicate Lavender scent and a handpainted Kylemore "K".

Sheep
Based on artwork by Kylemore School past pupil and artist, Gemma Coyne, and made by Shannonbridge in Co. Offaly, the Characters of Kylemore range capture a few of the wildlife characters that can be found on the Kylemore Estate.
The range comprises a complete Robin collection which includes: Mug, teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, and butter dish. And also a range of mugs (as seen to the right).

Easter Favourites from Kylemore Abbey
Easter at Kylemore Abey can only mean one thing...The Lucky Lambs! The Lambs have been let loose for the past three years and each year have gone from strength to strength, capturing the imaginations of people from all over the world. The hollow sheep shaped egg is a wonderful quirky egg alternative and the very Lucky Lamb in the flock (1/100) comes with a a special prize inside.
Last year our Lamb was joined by two friends; The Galway Lamb and the Connemara Lamb, together this trio make up an ideal Easter gift.
New: Coming for 2023 is the Kylemore Honeycomb Easter Egg, Fruit & nut Easter Egg, and Chocolate Biscuit Easter Egg. Also coming for Easter 2023 is The Kylemore Delicate Chocolate Bites two thin layers of smooth Kylemore chocolate sandwich a rich ganache. They come in both Kylemore Country Cream Ganache or Salted Caramel and Hazelnut Ganache.
