Strathmore Square is a set of two ground-up development multi-family residential buildings interconnected below ground level, located within the new walkable neighborhood adjacent to the Grosvenor-Strathmore metro station in North Bethesda, MD. Through SD and DD, the project team researched local precedents & influences and developed facades, floor plans, amenity programming, residential hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms. Key responsibilities included weekly client presentations, equipment/fixture schedules, material studies, 3D Revit modeling, and creating renders for both internal and client use.

Harlem Valley Homestead is a working farm in upstate New York, providing people with opportunities to experience farming firsthand and enjoy the natural environment. The requested proposal scope included construction of structures for additional amenities: a new dining hall, community gathering space, and private cabins along the riverside. Key responsibilities included cleaning up, coloring, and adding details to rough draft sketches by the team to be included in RFP package for the client.
The RFP response for this private residence is a study of two alternate concepts inspired by forms in nature. Key responsibilities included building 3D models in Rhino and creating sketch renders for each concept.

“Transform: Promising Places, Second Chances, and the Architecture of Transformational Change” presents case studies on how TenBerke has approached adaptive reuse throughout the years - illustrating the firm’s process of combining old with new to create transformative designs. Key responsibilities included creating new plan and isometric diagrams based on available archived project information and photography, as well as collaborating with both the internal project team and publishing team to define graphic standards for a cohesive final product.
The RFP response for a commercial office and research lab reimagines the existing historic building through a surgical reorganization of its interior space planning, maximizing flexibility for various tenant scales and to accommodate ever-changing technology needs into the future. Key responsibilities included creating plan diagrams and organizing materials for final RFP package and firm interview presentation slides.
A concept study for the potential new store in Atlanta draws from the location’s previously industrial neighborhood of West Midtown, and utilizes an updated set of retail display fixtures.
Key responsibilities included researching local styles and culture, generating test fit plans, building an FF&E concept package, creating the 3D Sketchup model, as well as quick sketch renders for internal use. Studies were also done for the updated display fixture package, to be implemented in all future stores, alongside the internal design team at Away.
Away’s recently opened Newbury location is inspired by the greater Boston area and uses a modernized Colonial Revival style scheme. Key responsibilities for this store included precedent and local research, test fits, creating a 3D model draft in Sketchup for use in coordination with external rendering team, material and FF&E selection, along with schedules and drawings for DD and CD submission sets.
BAPE’s Las Vegas pop-up location required demolition of existing fixtures, and focused on installation of new lighting, retail fixtures, wall decals, and signage. Key responsibilities included all drawings for the CD submission set, consisting of plans, RCPs, storefront elevations, interior elevations, and signage details.
The Shiseido location at Macy’s in Memorial City required new flooring and brand standard fixtures customized to fit the allocated square footage. Key responsibilities included all drawings and sheets for the construction set consisting of schedules, plans, display elevations, interior elevations, retail fixture elevations, and interior & millwork details.
