We wanted to take the time to personally welcome you to the D21 team and the Waller Creek area. We are very excited to welcome you back to campus as you begin your journey as a Resident Assistant for the 20252026 academic year. We believe you have special power to represent, mentor, and develop your future residents that make them effective contributors to society. We hope to make this a memorable experience for you. Please read all parts of this booklet to prepare for your arrival. We are here for you every step of the way!
Hi my name is Liana! I'm in my first year at Dell Medical School. Before starting med school, I was an RA for three years. In my free time I enjoy playing pickleball, piano, and going fishing I'm looking forward to meeting and working with everyone!
I am originally from Rancho Cucamonga, California. I received my bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Adolescents, Community, and Education. I identify as first-generation. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona. I then transitioned to Arizona State University where I received my master's degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education. I also identify as a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I'm excited to learn more about you!

Austin Brown Senior Resident Assistant (Lower)
Dobie Twenty21 will only be accessible via fob access on the S1 level during training You will enter through the resident elevators across from the indoor entrance of Target. You will receive your fob and mailbox key upon check in at San Jacinto Residence Hall.
Parking
There is 30 min/street parking on Whitis Avenue to unload. You can also unload on 21 Street with your hazard lights on. The nearest parking garage is Brazos Garage to purchase an R permit from Parking and Transportation Services st Parking website.
Wi-Fi
Dobie Twenty21 has UTexas wi-fi and you should be able to login with your EID and password
Every RA receives a one bedroom-one bathroom

You will check in and pick up your fob and mailbox key at San Jacinto Hall. Please text your supervisor upon arrival for confirmation. Please make sure you are reading emails from the Student Staff Training committee regarding training information. You can begin moving in as early as August 3, 2025 at 8am.
