Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2013 May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Asian-Pacific Islander encompasses the entire Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. Join the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, Asian American Student Association and the Filipino Student Association for Asian Pacific Islander American Month (APIAH) 2013. April 3rd · Island Styles Night UC Rock · 7:00PM Join the Filipino Student Association for Island Styles 2013. Island Styles will feature a night of Filipino culture filled with traditional and modern dance, song, and folklore. April 4th · Asia Night UC Rock · 7:00PM Join the Asian American Student Association for a night of celebration for the diverse Asian culture. Come out for some free food and entertainment! April 9th · Japanese Tea Ceremony UC I-Lounge · 5:00PM Join the Asian American Student Association for the annual Japanese Tea Ceremony, where you will learn the traditional way to create green tea!
