Aaron’s Happenings This year was challenging for me at work. I am still a Registered Nurse Clinical Analyst, but have also taken roles with Employee Health, New Hire Onboarding, and Worker’s Compensation. I am thankful for the challenge and opportunity to grow. I have been a Registered Nurse for 10 years now, and I am still proud of my profession.

At church, I organize music for various ministries, teach 11th grade Sunday School, and serve as the social media officer.

A new church website, podcasts, and email newsletter have been my passion projects. I have enjoyed leading music for other churches with Jess taking care of my audio/visual needs.

I feel like I am discovering what it means to be alive again after Snociety. Simple joys are exciting to me. I love to just relax with Jess at home, but also like going out with family and friends. I spend my alone time reading, blogging, and exercising. Of course, music is still my favorite hobby.

My band, Earth to Jupiter, is now on Spotify - and I am excited to share a new creative project with Jess as we podcast and create as SVRGN.

Jess’ Happenings This past year I was able to run Snociety with more ease though there was still stressful moments. Running the restaurant was very challenging but I am so grateful for everything that I have learned in the past year and a half.

I am happy that that part of our lives is over and that we are focusing our energy on other projects and on ourselves.

After Snociety ended in late March, I organized our home and our digital files and photos, travelled with Aaron and my friends, and finished editing all my videos in time for this issue!

I continue to work part-time at Liferay and got another part-time job at my church. I’ve also been freelancing as a graphic designer and getting into event decorations.

Highlights of this year include my nephew and niece’s birth, going to Hong Kong with my parents, completing our goal of visiting all the Disney Parks in the world, going to watch movies almost every week with my MoviePass, going to San Francisco for 30 hours, visiting Chicago with my friends, starting a podcast with Aaron as SVRGN, and enjoying life post-Snociety.
