BIG DOG RANCH RESCUE

Founded by Lauree Simmons 17 years ago, Big Dog Ranch Rescue is the country’s largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue. Our 33-acre campus operates as a rescue community, designed to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs. We receive hundreds of daily requests from high-kill shelters and have saved over 80,000 dogs.

YWCA is focused on empowering women and girls of all ages and races. Our domestic violence emergency shelter provides food, clothes, transportation, therapy, legal aid, employment assistance, and financial support for women and children who are homeless due to abuse. After 50 years of service, the Harmony House Shelter has become a staple in the community for survivors who are in imminent danger and may be one incident away from losing her life.
