Walker Holverson, learning the dance number with the other cheerleaders. "Practice was so much fun. It was me and my closest friends throwing each other into the air. Learning how to do the cheers and the dancing really wasn't very hard. 10/10 , I highly reccomend trying it. My advice for next years cheerleaders is to make sure all your friends sign up. Being a coach is boring!" Photo By Gracelyn Blackledge

I'm so happy that I won." - Natalie (left) Garret Dovey being bounced back and forth between the other cheerleaders. The boys did this when ever a touchdown was made. The number of times Garret was tossed was based on the number of points the team that scored had on the board.

It's always fun to award people for their hard work and talent. As a member of Red team, I was obviously rooting for us to win. But the White team, they were so good! Both teams played well, and should be proud of themselves."

3 Madi Quesnel (9) and Katie Johnson (11) set up their synth eqipment prior to the prelims performance. It takes an extended amount of effort for these two girls, plus Santi Perez (10), to prepare their instrument to have the best performance they can give. From a wolf howl, to the typical piano sound, these students truly give this program a variety.

1

During the final day of the trip, the students visited the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. In this picture, Mitchell Vereide (12), strolls into the museum with Abril Villareal (9), and Emma Vest (9), on his arms. The museum was filled with WWII planes, and it was fun for the entire percussion ensemble. It was nice to have a little fun after the week of performing our show in the biggest arena in the nation.

2

4 When the ensemble exited the arena after the prelims performance, every person could feel that it was one of the best performances in the history of the ensemble. Micthell Veredie (12), Madi Quesnel (9), and Kennedy Shalloup (10) rejoice when the students discovered that they were rated number one in the world. Although this is before the final performance, the students were beginning the road to success.

3

This is it, the last warm-up that this ensemble will play. The second row including Emma Vest (9), Caleb Brinkmeyer (10), Zach Wood (9), Emmie Schubert (11), Jonathan Vasquez (12), Abril Villareal (9), Josh Werner (9), and Sabrina Gutierrez (11) performed their hearts out and made the show one to remember. In the picture, they are playing the beginning of the show, which hooks the audience to want to see the rest..

4

(Top) Before they had time to celebrate the prelims performance, the ensemble was rushed to load all the equipment. It is very tedious to load all of the instruments, it must be done the exact way every time the team loads. (Left) Santi Perez (10), Michael Stegman (10), and Caleb Brinkmeyer (10), wait for the rest of the group to finish loading. Afterall, spending that much time in the heat gets tiring!
