PETOSKEY — A team from the Petoskey Middle School Robotics program will compete in the state competition in Battle Creek Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15-16. The program, known as G3, has two robotics teams, the “green team” and “blue team.” The blue team qualified for the state competition by winning the Innovate Award at two qualifying competitions — one at the Petoskey qualifying competition, and the second in Houghton. “At both competitions, the blue team won the award because of their unique design of their robot,” said team coach Joy KarbonBolinger. “That made them extremely competitive on the field.
