TOP GLOBAL FINTECH HUBS OF 2021 The Global FinTech Hub Report 2021 highlights those cities and regions of the world where the most FinTech activity takes place. The report focuses on three key areas for evaluation: FinTech industry, ecosystem and consumer experience.

LONDON MOVED DOWN ONE POSITION FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR BUT REMAINED STRONG AT NUMBER SIX.
US and China Dominate Of the top 50 ranked cities in the world, China and the US clearly dominate. There are eight cities from the United States and nine cities from China within these top 50. Beijing topped the list for the third year running as the highest ranked global hub for FinTech in the world.
Developing Vs. Developed Nations While developed nations currently maintain a strong edge in terms of ranking for ecosystem, it is predominantly developing countries that score highly for customer experience.
New Tier 1 Entry Tier 1, which is classed as the top nine ranked cities on the index, had a new entry in 2021: Singapore (which rose to 8th position, overtaking Chicago). London moved down one position from the previous year but remained strong at number six.
