Password removal or recovery for QuickBooks Point of Sale If you have forgotten or misplaced your login password for QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale, here are a few steps you can try prior to using the online automated Password Reset tool. Change a Password for a non-SysAdmin user 1. Log into QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale as the SysAdmin user. 2. From the Employees menu, select Employee List. 3. From the list, select the employee that needs to change their password and select Edit Employee. 4. On the Edit Employee screen, click Change Password.
