2021 Commemorative Poster Signed and numbered prints of the Autumn & Art 2021 commemorative poster featuring Sharon Sudduth’s painting, “Let’s Tango,” are available for a limited time for $10 at The Frame Shop in Bradley Fair and at the event welcome centers. Autumn & Art Patrons will receive the print at the Patron Party, courtesy of Evergy.

EVERGY FEATURED ARTIST Sharon Sudduth Sharon Sudduth is a representational painter residing in Enid, Oklahoma.

Sudduth, a former Kansan, works from her backyard studio where creativity and optimism bloom.

Sudduth began painting in 2012 shortly after relocating to Oklahoma with her husband.

Mostly self-taught, Sudduth discovered the “alla prima” or wet into wet method of oil painting in 2018. She fell in love with the medium and technique which allows her to complete paintings in just a few sessions, meeting her need for spontaneity but also results.

Painting brings Sudduth joy as she explores the beauty and wonder around her. There is a liveliness, vibrance and intuitiveness to Sudduth’s work that is distinct and her love for light, form and color are apparent in her upclose, large scale contemporary flower paintings.

Sudduth has exhibited and sold her work through juried, group and solo gallery shows in Oklahoma and Kansas and through her website, www. sharonsudduthart.com.

Volunteers are the heart of

Wichita Festivals and we have missed your smiling faces, giving hearts, and helping hands. Many thanks to those who volunteered for the June portion of Riverfest, those who are helping out with Autumn & Art and those who will pitch in at Riverfest this fall. WFI Staff is so excited to see you in person this year!

It takes thousands of people working tirelessly for many hours to bring our events—especially Riverfest—to life.

Individual volunteers assist with every aspect of the festival from manning a barricade location for the parade, putting together mailings, selling buttons, selling food court tickets, helping with merchandise and many other tasks before, during and after the festival.

Many civic and community organizations provide teams of volunteers who support Riverfest with their time and talents.

Their assistance is invaluable in making Riverfest a success! Would you like to be among the Volunteer Elite Team at Riverfest? Then pitch in and have a great time: Volunteer!
