2. Make it a Letter

Write a letter. Maybe to your best friend, even though you are going to see her tomorrow. Maybe to your favorite teacher, your grandparents, your future self!

Write a letter you might never send. A love letter. A message in a bottle.

3. Make it Speak for Itself Fill a page with your favorite quotes. Did someone special share any of the quotes with you or did you find them in a favorite book?

4. Make it Textured Rip the page, poke holes in it, use an exacto blade, glob on the paint, glue what you took away from the page back on to the page.

5. Make a Sketch Sketch a scene from nature. Try abstract, try pointilism, try doing the whole sketch with one line.

6. Make it Colorful Fill the page with an array of colors. Get creative with your materials. Try markers, colored pencils, nail polish, a coffee mug ring... No words needed if you aren’t ready to write yet!
