Meagan Rose Dowling is an illustrator, designer and owner of Wild Rose Shop & Studio. Wild Rose Shop is Meagan’s vessel to get her cheery, whimsical designs into the hands of strangers that have a love for color.

Her products are inspired by her travels, as well as small, everyday objects that make you crack a smile. Meagan’s experience in design & running a small shop for years led her to add Wild Rose Studio to her business, helping brands with design, products and consulting!

You can find her line of products in over 150+ shops across the US and her custom collaborations of products & designs in tons of local businesses!

Don’t keep your business to a confined box of what it’s supposed to look like! Once I realized no one could determine what my businesses was supposed to look like besides me, the doors opened with opportunity. Some of my biggest achievements have come from me just going for it and not worrying about how this wasn’t in my original business plan!

Take the wisdom and lessons learned in 2021 with them into 2022. I know it sounds obvious, but for me (as a proud non-goal setter, lol) taking time to think about all that I learned, and my new set of values because of my experiences, gets me out of the chase and grounds me.

And remember, sometimes it's about the journey, not about hitting that goal that actually defines how "successful" you are!

Marni Butchkoski is the artist behind Art By Marni B! Painting is her passion with a focus on using alternative surfaces, nowadays; mainly seashells that she handpicks from the shores of LI. Marni has been painting for over 20 years however life got “busy” being a mom, wife and working full time hospital hours up until a year ago. Life took some drastic turn when her brother was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and passed less than 2 months later. In her grief, she found her way back to painting. This loss left her realizing that there is no time to waste and that making the time for what she loves is most important. Since making that decision, she left her “career” and now is a full time artist/ business owner, combing the beaches where her brother used to surf and painting countless pieces, each one of a kind”

The bigger the goal the better, but a goal is empty wishes without a plan and smaller steps to lead in the right direction. Trust the process is my biggest advice! And Show up ! Be authentic, true, and kind (to yourself) Allow and invite mistakes, growth is uncomfortable but inevitable. Nicole is a glitter-lovin’ mother of 2 who wants to spread all kinds of happy one fun accessory at a time! She started this little side hustle when her youngest, Mia (aka Mimi), headed off to kindergarten in September of 2020. With a little extra time on her hands, she decided to tap into her creative (and messy) side and start creating some hair clips. Well, one hair clip led to a few hair clips, and a few hair clips led to the debut of Love, MiMi! Nicole pumped up her resin-pouring game, went on the hunt for some fun sparkle mixes, and decided to go all-in!

She loves, loves, LOVES making custom clips that express the personality of whatever lucky little lady gets to wear it!

I can share the advice that I will be giving myself as we enter 2022…FOCUS! Focus your energy on the initiatives and projects you want to see come to life! Focus on your progress and not your stumbles because every misstep has brought you to where you are now. Focus on what gives you joy

Jenni is a licensed clinical child psychologist and busy working mom of two active kids. She has a private practice in Manhasset, LI and Forest Hills, Queens. With her children in tow it was harder to enjoy weekend brunch or even multitask when work needed to get done. So she and her husband Marc decided to blend their passions and experiences to create a one-of-a-kind restaurant and event space offering elements that modern families need and want. They opened Social Play Haus in November 2019 which has become one of Long Island’s premiere event spaces on the island.

I hustle every day to grow my two separate businesses. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to keep up. Through the years I’ve learned that focusing on one big goal with intent, passion and purpose is more productive than trying to do everything. Dream BIG but keep your goals realistic!

In 2016, Ina opened Solntse Hot Yoga. As a regular practitioner, Ina valued the health benefits of yoga first hand and recognized a need for a studio in her community.
