Two early 20th Century Grade II-listed Mayfair mansions converted from offices into six extensive and magnificent residential apartments with 24-hour porterage and concierge. In creating these luxurious London apartments, Northacre took considerable care to retain and recreate original period details, obtaining planning and listed building consent in less than six weeks, thanks to our experienced negotiators.
A striking gated development in Kensington, this refurbishment and revival scheme saw the transformation of the former Queen Elizabeth College, part of King’s College London, into 66 elegant apartments, landscaped gardens, leisure and concierge facilities. It demonstrates Northacre’s devotion to historical details and received a Restoration and Conservation Award by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
This unique development involved the rescue of an uninterrupted terrace of derelict Georgian houses, revived to create 23 exquisite family homes. Northacre re-instated a wonderful carriage driveway over a new underground car park and created leisure areas for each home. In 1999, it was awarded Best London Garden Square and received a Restoration and Conservation Award from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
For this prestigious revival scheme, Northacre revitalised an entire Victorian terrace in Kensington, creating 69 purpose-built apartments. The original facade has been meticulously retained with an all-new concrete structure, while all the modern amenities of a new building are skilfully included. This remarkable design was awarded both a Civic Trust Award and the Royal Borough of Chelsea’s Restoration and Conservation Award.

A former King’s College facility, this magnificent gated development, a mixture of Grade II-listed architecture and new-builds, is set in 7.5 acres of walled parkland. Another impressive Northacre revival scheme, it created 267 luxury apartments and 22 houses, all equipped for contemporary luxury living in this fashionable part of town.
A pioneering gated development, The Bromptons was formally an NHS hospital until Northacre restored the listed neogothic main building to its former glory and built two new blocks to replicate its architectural style. With 74 family-sized apartments, underground car parking, gated private gardens and a swimming pool, it received a Restoration and Conservation Award from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
