Mark’s Path to Victory

The path to majority in the Pennsylvania General Assembly runs through the 142nd district, and Mark Moffa is well positioned to win in November.

A longtime Bucks County resident, Mark possesses deep ties to community and political leaders, having served on borough council, zoning boards, preservation boards, and economic revitalization committees. These experiences also grant him deep, personal insights into the needs of the communities in the district, making him a reliable advocate to achieve progress on the issues that matter most.

The 2020 census and subsequent redistricting make this seat prime for the taking. The composite 2016-2020 Performance Index demonstrates a toss-up, with neither party enjoying an advantage. However, of the 26,027 likely voters, Democrats retain a slight registration advantage, with more than 11% unaffiliated. The six-point gender gap will likely have an outsized, positive effect this year given the newfound salience of abortion and women’s healthcare options. Furthermore, modeling suggests this district is progressive on social issues, while more moderate on economic ones.
