● Enableuserstoselectthepremiumsubscriptionplantogetthebestdealandgain fullaccesstoallthecontentstheycanwatch.
● Designastreamingappthatincludesawide-varietyofcontentsforusersto exploreandnotifytheuserswhenevertherearecontentsthatareupdated.
● Incorporatea‘MyWatchlist’pagetosaveallthecontentstheuserswanttowatch inordertofindtheirsavedcontentseasier.Italsoenablesuserstowatchtheir favoritecontentsaswellascontinuewatchingthevideowheretheyleftoff.

AfterunderstandingwhatdirectionIwaslookingfor,Iproceededtomoveonto designingmyroughideas.Sketchingoutideasisveryimportantfordesign conceptualization.Imainlyimprovedtheuser’sexperiencebyenablinguserstosave theirdesiredcontentsontoonepage,andIalsoincludedanotificationspagetonotify usersabouttheincomingcontentsorthenewarrivalsforittoremindthem.

Withmysketchesandmyfinalideationcomplete,Iproceededtocreateahigh-fidelity prototypetotesttheusabilityofmyproposedsolution.Thegoalistoprovidetheusers withanenjoyableexperiencewhentheysurfthroughtheplatformtowatchawidevariety ofcontentsattheirleisure.Withtheplantheysubscribedto,itisparamountthattheusers gettoexperiencestreamingtothefullest.

UsabilityTesting
Iconducted1:1remoteusabilitytestswith5participantswholoveusingstreamingmedia appstowatchmoviesorshows.Mediaisaveryimportantpartoftheirlivesandthey wantsomethingthatcanpiquetheirinterestwhenitcomestousingthisstreaming platform.Thegoalwastoseeiftheuserswereabletobecomfortablewiththefeatures thatareincludedintheirsubscriptionaswellastodeterminetheeaseofusewhenusing theprototype.
Asaresult,theparticipantswentthroughtheprototypequitesmoothlyandoverallhada goodimpressionofit.Thetestingmayhavesomedrawbacksorbeinneedof improvementtotheoverallstructure,butthemajorityofusersfoundtheappprototypeto beasignificantimprovementtotheirexperiencewhenusingtheirownstreamingmedia appandwouldbewillingtosubscribetoJolliFlixtohaveagreatdealfortheirstreaming experience.

Overall,themajorityofusersfoundsignificantimprovementstotheaccessibilityofthe streamingexperience,andthegoalsweremetwithsatisfaction.Inthisproject’s journey,Ihavelearnedalotaboutthedesiresofotherstreamingconsumersandshared theirempathywhenusingotherstreamingapps
Peoplewanttohaveanenjoyableexperiencewhentheyexplorenewthings,andthey don’twanttheirmoneytobewastedonsomethingthatdoesn’tallowthemtoindulgein theirstreamingexperience.Whichiswhyitisimperativetoimproveone’sexperience byconsideringtheconsumer’sneedsandenablingthemtobeimmersedinthemedia tohavethemexperiencestreamingtothefullest.
