Jefferey Newbury is an awardwinning photographer who has worked with many of the world’s biggest celebrities, shooting cover images and photo essays for books, films, albums, and publications. His photography of Tupac Shakur is prominently featured in the current touring museum exhibit “Wake Me When I’m Free,” which opened in Los Angeles in June 2022 to critical acclaim. Newbury’s archive of Tupac Shakur imagery and Steven Jobs portrait sessions were acquired in 2019 for well over seven figures.
