The annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony to honor and remember our American Heroes will be held on Monday, May 29th. The parade will begin at Pratt and Cicero, east down Pratt to Keeler and then north to Morse and ends at Madeleine’s Garden in Proesel Park where a ceremony to honor the fallen will take place.
Parade begins at 10:20 am. Ceremony immediately follows the parade.
The Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation Department is seeking local organizations, businesses, and residents to be a part of the parade. Participants can walk, drive, ride, or march in honor of those that gave their lives for our country. If you are interested in participating in the parade, please email Kandice Newton, Recreation Supervisor at knewton@lwd.org.
