JDOAAI For more than 50 years, the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute (JDOAAI) has played an integral role in Northeastern University's history, growth, and success. From the day president Asa S. Knowles announced the establishment of the Afro American Culture Center in 1968, JDOAAI has been committed to inspiring students toward excellence, success, and service through out the African Diaspora, the Northeastern community and the world. Our students, team and alumni remain dedicated, active and continue to have an impact. After returning from a difficult and challenging two years, 2021-2022 had everyone remaining vigilant as the Institute worked hard to bring everything back to regular operation. The students, staff, faculty, alumni and Northeastern community made it a successful year with tremendous potential for 2022 2023, Thank You! Director's Message 2
