2022 Point System Major Coed Team Competition Dodgeball, Flag Football, Kickball, 4v4 Soccer, Softball, Tug of War Points will be awarded to the top eight teams in each division, as follows: 1st place – 40 points 2nd place – 32 points 3rd place – 24 points 4th place – 20 points
5th place – 16 points 6th place – 12 points 7th place – 8 points 8th place – 4 points
Team Competition Basketball, Bowling, Fishing, Team Weightlifting, Volleyball Points will be awarded to the top eight teams in each division, as follows: 1st place – 20 points 2nd place – 16 points 3rd place – 12 points 4th place – 10 points
5th place – 8 points 6th place – 6 points 7th place – 4 points 8th place – 2 points
Individual or Doubles Competition Cornhole, Darts, Disc Golf, Golf, Horseshoes, Long Jump, Pickleball, Pool, Shot Put, Table Tennis, Tennis, Trap Shooting Points will be awarded to the top eight finishers in each division, as follows: 1st place – 10 points 2nd place – 8 points 3rd place – 6 points 4th place – 5 points
5th place – 4 points 6th place – 3 points 7th place – 2 points 8th place – 1 point
Medal Points Individual Bowling, Individual Weightlifting Medal points will be added to your company’s overall KCCC total, by division, as follows: 1st place – 3 points 2nd place – 2 points 3rd place – 1 point
Team Duathlon & Individual Segment Challenge The Team Duathlon & Individual Segment Challenge will be held as a single “Meet” and will be scored by division. The top eight finishers in each division in the Team Duathlon Relay will be awarded points toward your company’s Team Duathlon Relay “Meet Points” as follows: 1st place – 20 points 2nd place – 16 points 3rd place – 12 points 4th place – 10 points
5th place – 8 points 6th place – 6 points 7th place – 4 points 8th place – 2 points
The top eight finishers in each gender and age group, in the Individual Segment Challenge (first 5K, bike, second 5K) will be awarded points toward your company’s Team Duathlon Relay “Meet Points” as follows: 1st place – 10 points 2nd place – 8 points 3rd place – 6 points 4th place – 5 points
5th place – 4 points 6th place – 3 points 7th place – 2 points 8th place – 1 point
After “Meet Points” are accumulated from all finishers in the Team Duathlon Relay Meet, company winners will be determined and points will be awarded, by division, to your overall KCCC total, as follows: 1st place – 40 points 2nd place – 34 points 3rd place – 28 points 4th place – 24 points 5th place – 20 points 6th place – 16 points
7th place – 12 points 8th place – 10 points 9th place – 8 points 10th place – 6 point 11th place – 4 points 12th place – 2 points
Medals and additional “Medal Points” will be awarded toward your overall KCCC Total for the top three finishers in the Team Duathlon Relay per division. These medals and “medal points” will be awarded by division. Medal points will be scored as follows: 1st Place – 3 points 2nd Place – 2 points 3rd Place – 1 point KCCC will award participation points for all competitors. Team Duathlon Relay teams will be awarded 3 participation points each, 1 per each participant. If you field 2 teams, you will receive 6 participation points.

The 5K, Bike Race and Half Marathon events will be scored as three separate “meets.” The top eight finishers in each age group, by division, in the 5K, Bike Race and Half Marathon will be awarded points toward your company’s 5K, Bike Race and Half Marathon “Meet Points” as follows: 1st Place – 10 points 2nd Place – 8 points 3rd Place – 6 points 4th Place – 5 points

Points Awarded in the Event of a Tie

In the occurrence of a tie in any event, individuals or teams will equally split the total points available for the places they occupy in the final results of that event. (Example: a 2-way tie for 2nd place; the two teams will split the total of the 2nd and 3rd place points available).
