On February 27, 2010, 7 missionaries under the auspices of Garden of Grace Ministries left the US on a ‘post earthquake” humanitarian mission to the Republic of Haiti. During the course of their 7 day stay, they focused on the immediate needs of the people from one “tent” city in the hamlet of PERNIER, located approximately 10 miles east of Port Au Prince.
Not too long after their arrival at the tent city it became evident why frustration and anxiety are rampant among the 3,000 plus residents of this community. The residents stated, "They have to bring aid to his community!"
