Joey Yap JCI Century Board of Director was fully participate in Leadership Summit host by JCI Malaysia held on 2nd January 2021. We have more than 400+ JCI members from different Local Organisation were participated in this virtual

Leadership Summit even though we are now in the pandemic. The objective of the event is to enhance the JCI knowledge to upcoming Board of Director. During the event, National Board of Director had share to us the plan of action in 2021 too.

First GMM in 2021 was held on 14th January 2021. Organizing Chairman for the event is Heng Wang Qianyou. The Objective of the event is to let the member to have better understanding of their language skill. The trainer of the day has created a quick test to test every member with the fluence of mandarin and English speaking skill.

Organizing Chairman Joey Yap Area Central South Virtual Academy was held on 30th January 2021 –31st January 2021. Organised by JCI South Key and the organizing chairman is Harry Koh. We have total 16 members attended the said academy and most of the attendees are Board of Director 2021. This academy is to give understanding to board members in regards to their job scope in upcoming events. We have conducted this academy via virtual and hosting LO invited JCIM Past National President Nurul, JCIM Past National President Velvet, 2021 JCIM National Deputy President Ellen Lu, 2020 JCIM National Treasurer Viviane Tong, 2020 JCIM National Vice President Wei Jian, 2021 National Skill Development Commission Chairman Zelt Kueh, 2020 JCIM Area Skill Development Director Zare Lee as trainers for the whole academy.

We are proud to share the winner of the Area Academy too. The Champion of the event goes to our member, Heng Wang Qian Wei's Team of Chicken Rice Ball. The 1st Runner Up goes to Team Lontong which lead by our President Crystal Kong and the 2nd Runner Up goes to our Hononary Treasurer, Tang Zhen Fu's Team of Asam Pedas.

Organizing Chairman Nai Wang Cheng

Second GMM was held on 24th February 2021. Organizing Chairman for the event is Nai Wang Cheng. The objective of this GMM is to create the opportunity for our members to have networking in between members and new joined member. This is because this is our long lost physical event since Movement Control Order in Malaysia. Besides, we wish to gather everyone for Chinese New Year’s celebration especially for those who unable to go back to their hometown during lockdown period.

March GMM was held on 20th March 2021. Organizing Chairman for the event is Joey Yap Zhi Qing. This is our second physical GMM during pandemic. In this event, we have successfully invited 15 members from JCI Century and 15 non-members to join us in this event. The objective of the event is to create networking opportunity for those are in the midst of looking their own business partner. During the event, our Program Director JJ Ong had conducted a board game in order for the participant to identify their financial behavior for different personality.
