 Greeting from JCI Century VP Individual, Thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to take VP Individual position in 2021. We are glad to organize quite a lot of JCI training in first and second quarter such as JCIM Inspire, JCIM Explore, JCI Effective Communication and etc. We understand that JCI is a platform to learn and we will work hard to organize more event to build and create young active citizen. The half-year effort is to make this year full of positive energy and continue. Don't give up, tomorrow will be better!

JCI Century E-awards Training was done by JCI Century on 24th January 2021. We invited JCI Century Immediate Past President David Lim as trainer and we were given a better understanding on E-award submission. It is a very great sharing from IPP David. Now, we believe our JCI Century's member are ready to submit for the E-award. Here we go~

JCI Century organized Effective Communication - Building A Foundation on 28/1/2021 joint with JCI Riam. We have invited 2021 JCIM National Deputy President JCI Sen, Ellen Lu as our Trainer. In this training , we learnt how to become a good listener and how to delivery clear message to receiver. Shorten your message into main point and also 3 way of communicating - verbal, nonverbal & preverbal.

Gan Wealth Investment Online was successfully done by JCI Century on 03/02/2021, Thank you Trainer Ah Gan for the sharing. We have more than 40 participants to join us online regardless member or non-member. Trainer Ah Gan was sharing with us the right way to do financial and planning and investment with right method.

JCI Century has coorganised 《浅谈中 医如何解释糖尿病》 with宗乡亲古来县会 on 13/2/2021. Together with others 3 partners. The objective of the event is to create awareness to the public to take care their own health and the speaker did share us the way to prevent diabetes.

JCI Century organized Effective Communication –Crafting Your Message on 8/3/2021 joint with JCI Riam. We are honor to invite 2021 JCIM National Deputy President JCI Sen. Ellen Lu as our Trainer. All the committees from JCI Century and JCI Riam were work hard and put a lot of effort to make a successful training. The objective of the events is to provide opportunity to JCI member to understand the right way to communication with each other and how to deliver the message wisely. We will continuously organize the JCI Effective Communication Level 3 and Level 4 in third quarter of Year 2021.

JCI Century has joint organized Parliamentary Procedure Training with 5 chapters which are JCI Mines, JCI United Penang, JCI Butterworth City, JCI Damai, JCI Sungai Petani held on 13rd March 2021. We invited JCIM National Past President JCI Sen. Andy Lau and Tan Wei Jian as Trainer of the event.

Thanks our Secretary General Joey as emcee of the training.

What we learn from this training: Emotion - Reason - Law 情理法 Parliamentary is use to improve our LO and not for bad intentions. The world suffer a lot. Not because the violence of bad people, but because of the silence of the good people. So, please learn to voice out. To be always well prepare and be ready always before any kind of meeting

JCIM Inspire was held on 3rdApril 2021 by JCI Century. We have invited Head Trainer 2021 JCIM National Skill Development Commission Chair Zelt Kueh and Assistant Trainer JCI Sen. Viviane Tong as trainer of the event. The objective of the event is to give understanding to newly joined member that what is JCI about, what we able to explore through JCI and how JCI affects ourselves in all 4 area of opportunity: individual, business, community and international. We believe that the sharing of your single step in JCI had inspired the attendees to create their own wonderful pathway in their future.

The objective of this training is to introduce what is the important as followers and leaders and how can a leader effectively manage and administer the local organizations?
