Children entering K-4th grade enjoy a variety of activities including swimming, sports, arts and crafts, gymnastics, martial arts, gaga, music, nature, and more, in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. Inclusion options are available. Special theme days such as Pajama Day, Crazy Hat Day, Sports Day and more highlight each week. Breakfast bunch, late night activities and carnival are always something campers look forward to and enjoy. Our oldest campers, entering 2nd-4th grades, also enjoy a local trip every week.

The JCC CIT Experience combines hands-on counselor training with social action initiatives and weekly CIT only trips for a full, enriching summer experience. CITs spend each morning assisting in camper groups. After lunch, CITs meet to enjoy some social time with their peers. In addition to weekly trips, CITs participate in on or off-campus social action initiatives which support local causes. CITs (entering 1Oth grade) who successfully complete the program may be invited back next summer as Junior Counselors. Limited spaces available. Application & interview req.

The serious dance student with some experience will enjoy a comprehensive curriculum of dance and dance-related classes taught by professionals. Students take a variety of classes including ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz hip hop, tap, modern, composition/ choreography, Pilates mat, yoga and nutrition. Dancers attend camp daily, 10:30am-4:45pm and may choose a 2, 3, or 4 week option. Parents are welcome to observe a class of their choice during the last week of camp. Limited to 16 participants

The joy of creative expression is what our unique Summer Arts Center is all about. The only program of its kind in lower Westchester, SAC provides on opportunity for campers to focus on art, dance or theatre as a major, while taking electives in all other disciplines.

Campers create a custom schedule of four classes each day (20 classes per week), all taught by professionals in the field. Classes include drawing and painting in charcoal, water color and acrylic, ceramics, decoupage, jewelry design, 3D art, classical ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre workshop, acting dialect and improvisation. Instructional swim, gymnastics, cheerleading and teen fitness are also offered and all campers are encouraged to participate. At the end of the summer, campers proudly share their artistic accomplishments in the “SAC Showcase.� Half-summer campers may also participate in a final performance.

(Ages 3-5 years) The Toward Tomorrow Program provides children with developmental learning needs a nurturing, learning and recreational summer experience. Half-day, full-day and inclusion options are available. Toward Tomorrow is a New York State and Westchester County funded program. Acceptance is contingent upon school district approval.

Campers (who stay past 12pm) are provided with a fresh, delicious, catered kosher lunch every day. Morning and afternoon snacks are also provided each day. JCC of Mid-Westchester is a peanut-aware facility and special dietary needs can be accommodated.
