RECLAMATION

Virtual and In-Person reclamation efforts and social activities during the pandemic/endemic continue to strengthen the Brotherhood bond while bringing Brothers back into the fold. We have continued to reach out to brothers in the area and invite them to every social event of the chapter, as well as our monthly meetings. We are excited to share we have reclaimed 8 Brothers this year due to our efforts. This year we hosted a Reclamation Brotherhood Smoke, where inactive brothers were able to fellowship with the brothers of Xi Phi Lambda. In addition, we have participated in the Lowcountry Fellowship and Reclamation Cookout annually. We were grateful to cohost this year’s event with the Xi Gamma Lambda Chapter, Lowcountry Alphas this year. Xi Phi Lambda also hosted an email letter campaign that reached out to approximately 125 inactive brothers in the Lowcounty area. The letter, written by Chapter President Brother Martelle T. Morrison, expressed the desire to reconnect with the inactive brothers and invite them to chapter meetings and events.
