THANKSGIVING BLESSING BOX

Xi Phi Lambda partners with one of our chapter brothers, Brother Troy McClain, in his efforts to feed the community during Thanksgiving. This fraternal year the chapter was able to bless 200 families with food and groceries during the Thanksgiving holiday. The most inspiring part of the Thanksgiving Blessing Box was the chapter’s ability to hand deliver the food to the families in need and to interact with the community.

Alpha First Day Of School

Through the Alpha First Day of School Initiative, a project led by our S.A.C.E. Committee, Brother Marcus Clark and Brother Antonio White. The Brotherhood attended various back to school events at local schools and even participated in the Berkeley County Day One Festival. We are most proud to boast that Brother Jermaine Joyner is the proud new principal of one of our area schools; along with various brothers serving on the county school boards and in leadership positions in the school districts.

MLK JR. SCHOLARSHIP ORATORICAL PROGRAM

One of the hallmarks of the Xi Phi Lambda chapter is our annual MLK Jr. Scholarship Oratorical Program. Young people in middle schools compete in the virtual oratorical program to not only win a financial award, but also to hone their oratory skills. This year’s program was hosted by News 5 anchor, Raphael James.
