Kendall Max Aultman, II
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. By the hand of, then, Rev Barbara Precious Boyd At Greater Allen Temple AME Church of Jackson, Ms. I was baptized Kendall Max Aultman II a 4th generation A.M.E. in the 8th Episcopal District. After serving in the United States Marine Corps my career education and hobbies all merged. I have worked and studied in the fields of Communication, mechanics, customer service, Corporate management and electronics. I've worked as a mixed martial arts instructor, aircraft mechanic, jazz and church saxophonist, media/technology director, security and collections agent, safety supervisor, Learning and development consultant, truck driver and even on an airship. I've started and/or managed restaurants, a magazine, consulting firm, boutique, multiple restaurants and a party supply store. I’ve lived in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas at least twice and in at least 2 cities. I also lived in Georgia, California, and Iowa. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This bible verse was drilled into me as a child and considering all of this was done including retirement before 40 years of age continue to prove God’s word to be true. But let me really introduce you to Pastor Ken.
The baby boy of a former Marine and a Pastor, my life is storied but definitely hasn’t been easy. My parents wanted to give me so much but they could only afford the basics. I don’t mean just food, clothes, and a roof. My parents provided love, taught me faith, and never allowed me to fail by giving up. For example, my father’s side of the family is from Louisiana and as a child I spoke with the world famous accent. I was made fun of in a camp once and told my dad “I wanna learn to talk right”. After gaining and understanding his response was “son, you gotta do better.” Shortly after a few dictionaries and a set of encyclopedias were brought into our home. My parents tag teamed in teaching me the symbols of the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) then told me to spend the rest of the summer practicing. I got frustrated because I could barely read. Then it started. My mom had me say it over and over again ... .I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I believed it! Before I could do long division, I was saved.
As life moved on so did I and in everything I gave my all. Not just because of my parents. I was being strengthened through Christ. I started to have this recurring dream of me in church. I would be standing behind my mother in a pulpit. She would turn around and see me. We would hug and cry. The little phone in my heart was ringing but I didn't want to answer. When I finally gave in after years of fighting, I cried. “Lord, I have seen the life of a preacher and i don’t want it.” But that is not the answer He accepted. I used all of my intelligence and intellect and made a bold statement. “Lord I will preach but if you want me to pastor, You are going to have to make it happen” He did!!!! Now I am pastoring “The lighthouse in Lexington. A church of Love and Relationship. We are in an effort to revive and revitalize a community. We can do it you and I through Christ who strengthens us.

During his 2nd pastoral assignment, you had a vision to begin a new ministry, thus began McKenzie Temple AMEC (named in honor of Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie) and how the members had a “mustard seed” faith, literally wrote the vision on the wall, overcame challenges and the church was blessed and grew. The ministry re-located from an unoccupied church building to a night club building on Sunday morning to another unoccupied church building. The church was re-named Chain Breakers and continued to flourish.
At the close of the 145th Session of the West TN Annual Conference, Bishop Jeffrey Leath presented me a dual appointment to pastor two congregations: Chain Breakers and Wright’s Chapel AMEC. Pastor Clay became the 31st assigned pastor or Wright’s Chapel. Meeting the challenge, within 3 months both congregations began worshipping together in one location. Uniting as one, the members agreed to changing the name of the church from Wright’s Chapel to New Wrights AMEC.
With Bishop Byfield consent and help for the West Conference Trustees Pastor Clay had another innovative vision to launch another “outside r the box” ministry, Momentum Church. During his pastorate at New Wright’s, he had a heart for the church.

Adihamu G. Karneh is a youth development expert deeply committed to advancing gender equality and youth participation, which form the core of his professional efforts. His dedication to these causes is evident in his belief that technology can amplify voices and catalyze social change. This commitment was especially demonstrated in 2020 when, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and a surge in gender-based violence in Liberia, Adihamu worked with MATCH FOR JUSTICE to develop anti-sexual and gender-based violence response mechanisms. Through community engagement and social media awareness, he leveraged technology to create a platform for real-time reporting of GBV cases, which has since become a national instrument.
In his role as a Technology Consultant for the Ministry of Gender and Social Protection of Liberia, Adihamu has achieved significant milestones, including the development of the ‘Sector Clearance Portal’ and the Gender Equity Profile mobile application. These platforms have accelerated gender-focused institutional programs and enabled the collection of gender-related data nationwide.
Adihamu currently leads the Canadian-funded ‘Women Political Leadership and Empowerment’ project, promoting women political aspirants and women in appointed positions. Adihamu’s career is marked by his role as a Communication consultant at the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Champions Network of Liberia, addressing gender discrimination, maternal motility, access to reproductive serves, comprehensive sexuality education among young people and policy advocacy in the passage of the draft public health Law. And his previous position as project lead at Sister Aid Liberia, Inc. There, he supported UN Women/Irish Aid and Canadian Aid projects on women’s political participation and leadership. Notably, he developed the Ministry of Gender’s Sector Clearance Online Portal and the Gender Equity Profile mobile app.
