Family Medical Office Hiring

Busy Family Medical office in Olympia seeks outgoing, positive, organized person for 2/3 time employment. Prior MEDICAL front desk/ back office experience of 2 years required.

CMA preferred.

Responsibilities in which experience is required include: • Answering multi-line phones while greeting patients with professionalism.

• Computer based patient scheduling for multiple providers.

• Patient registration, paperwork processing & scanning.

• Instrument cleaning & sterilization.

• Diagnostics including microscopy set up, spriometry, EKG, etc.

• Willing to learn x-ray.

• Room and patent prep, venipuncture, injections.

• Respect for and protection of patient privacy.

Must Demonstrate • Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and in written communications using proper English(additional language a plus).

• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.

The Department of the Army Pathways Interns may be converted to a permanent position within 120 days of successful completion of the program.

To be eligible for conversion to a permanent or term position, Interns must: • Be a U.S. Citizen • Complete at least 640 hours of work experience acquired through the Internship Program • Complete their degree or certificate requirements • Meet the Office of Personnel Management’s qualification standards for the position to which the Intern will be converted • Meet agency-specific requirements as specified in the Participant’s Agreement, and; • Perform their job successfully as documented through performance

evaluations and/or completion of an Individual Development Plan (IDP) Who May Apply: Department of the Army Internship Program Eligibles within the commuting area.
