ABOUT FARREN JOHNSON

Farren Johnson is a UNI graduate, and is the drummer for the Iowa Womens Jazz Orchestra (IWJO), which performed in the summer of 2024 with Ingrid Jensen at the Iowa City Jazz Festival, and in 2023 as the featured group at Orchestra Iowa's Holiday Spectacular. She’s also a member of the IWJO sextet. By day, she is an art teacher in the Grinnell school district. This is her first appearance as a Corridor Jazz guest artist.
