ABOUT TONI LEFEBVRE

Toni LeFebvre, originally from Bettendorf, IA, is an active trumpet player and music educator. She has degrees from UNI and the University of Iowa. Toni is currently the 6th Grade Band Director at Prairie Creek Intermediate School in Cedar Rapids, IA. She has performed with many big bands, pit orchestras, and other musical ensembles throughout the state of Iowa and beyond and is frequently called upon for guest artist, clinician, and adjudicator roles.

In 2017, Toni founded the Iowa Women's Jazz Orchestra for the purpose of showcasing the artistry of women jazz instrumentalists and inspiring the next generation.

She also serves as a Co-Chair of the Iowa Jazz Championships.
