JUNIOR CRICKET Junior cricket at Teddington CC starts from U5’s and runs to U18’s. We have a well-structured program with clear progression from learning the fundamentals of movement and cricket, right up to in depth technical, tactical, mental skill development for our older players.

Our vision is to be the best junior club in Middlesex within the next 5 years. We will do this by strongly adhering to an inclusive ‘One-Club’ culture, serving young players, both male and female, and their families, working in partnership with the Senior Club.

To provide top quality coaching and opportunities for young players of all abilities, furnishing and nurturing a life-long love and involvement in the game.

The sustained development of elite cricketers (i.e. first team senior club level or better), as well as social cricketers; and to foster the development of young players in accordance with the Spirit of Cricket.

Josh Knappett, Director of Junior Cricket, is a UKCC Level 4 coach and runs an Academy for the players in the top bracket of performance with desire, aspiration and ability to one day play professional cricket.

Breakfast is available in the Clubhouse on Sunday mornings for parents who would like to stay while the coaching is in session.

The bar opens at 12.00 and there is also a barbecue with hot dogs and burgers at reasonable prices. We run a children’s ‘bar’ where they can buy soft drinks and snacks. This season the bar will open every evening on a trial basis.

Please note that the catering facilities are run by parents and all parents are expected to take at least one duty during the season.
