The project is a large-scale beachfront resort featuring multiple guestroom buildings, extensive amenity zones, and a complex network of recreational, hospitality, and service areas. Working within this environment required maintaining precise model management and supporting smooth coordination between design and construction teams to meet the project’s technical and logistical demands.

I collaborated as a BIM Specialist for the architectural and structural teams during the development of Moon Palace The Grand, one of the flagship luxury properties of Palace Resorts in Punta Cana. My responsibilities included linking the BIM model with the ongoing construction works to identify coordination issues and detect interdisciplinary clashes. I also updated the architectural and structural model based on construction drawings, ensuring accurate alignment between the BIM model and on-site progress.

I collaborated as a BIM Specialist for the architectural, structural, and MEP teams on Torre ALAC, a high-end residential tower in Zapopan. My responsibilities included modeling the tower and amenities at LOD 400, producing as-built documentation, creating parametric families, and coordinating with the structural and MEP teams. I also contributed to the development of renders for client presentations.

The tower features 32 floors of residential units, including penthouses, designed with open layouts to maximize flexibility, daylight, and spatial quality. Shared amenities include a sky lounge, gym, recreational spaces, roof gardens, and landscaped terraces, providing a complete luxury lifestyle.

Working on this project required precise BIM coordination to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP elements, ensuring accuracy between the model and construction documentation while supporting visualization and presentation needs for the project team and clients.

I collaborated as a BIM Specialist and BIM Coordinator for the new corporate offices and industrial warehouse of LAZZAR México, located in the Álamo Industrial district of Guadalajara. My role covered the architectural, structural, and MEP scopes, ensuring accurate multidisciplinary integration throughout the development of the BIM model.

My responsibilities included modeling the complete project at a high level of detail, managing coordination workflows, detecting clashes between disciplines, and maintaining consistency between design updates and the federated model. I also participated in the creation of parametric families to support project-specific requirements and contributed to producing high-quality renders used for presentations and client communication.

The project consists of a new corporate building and an adjacent industrial warehouse designed to optimize administrative operations and streamline production logistics.

Working across all disciplines required rigorous model organization, clear communication with consultants, and continuous technical alignment to support an efficient design– construction process.

I contributed to the Charros de Jalisco Baseball Stadium project as a BIM Modeler, supporting the architectural and structural teams during the development and expansion phases of the facility. My primary responsibilities included creating and refining the BIM model to accurately represent existing conditions and proposed upgrades, ensuring that the digital environment supported clear visualization and technical documentation.

One of the key components of my participation was the development of the BIM model for the stadium’s new secondary roof structure. This addition required precise modeling of large-span elements, structural supports, and integration with the existing building geometry. By maintaining an organized and highly detailed model, I helped the design team evaluate spatial implications, structural relationships, and construction viability.

The project involved working on a complex sports venue with significant structural scale and public-capacity requirements. My work supported the team’s ability to visualize design updates, prepare technical documentation, and ensure the model’s consistency as the stadium underwent improvements to enhance spectator comfort and overall performance.

A composition of irregular plazas and sunken rectangular volumes establishes a strong relationship between the site and the intervention, allowing the building to blend with the existing topography.

For this proposal, the site is structured around the existing urban road system, establishing a direct connection with the neighborhood through primary streets (Gral. Emiliano Zapata and Av. División del Norte) and secondary streets (Trípoli, Tokio, Sevilla, Saratoga, among others).

A varied height composition was implemented across the volumes to create visual and spatial links between courtyards and terraces. This generates intermediate spaces designed for community and recreational activities, promoting a social and collaborative environment.

The courtyards are subdivided into smaller plazas that become the main gathering areas of the complex. These flexible, multifunctional spaces serve as meeting points and physical support for diverse activities while offering a naturally tempered interior environment through surrounding green areas. In turn, they encourage interaction and strengthen the sense of community among residents.

The MUCC is located in Coyoacán along Avenida Universidad, a site defined by its strong cultural identity and urban character. The proposal aims to articulate Avenida Universidad with Arenal Street to establish a continuous cultural corridor—one capable of showcasing artworks while capturing the essence of Coyoacán: its intimate alleys, small plazas, lush vegetation, and bohemian atmosphere.

With the goal of housing a permanent exhibition on the different historical stages of Mexico, the project responds directly to its context and to the idea of integrating the museum into the community’s daily life. The initial form emerges from extending the existing street to create a public forecourt, gradually opening into the various programmatic spaces toward the back of the site.

A central passage organizes the circulation and connects the museum from one end of the site to the other, enabling visitors to transition seamlessly through the different program areas. This spatial sequence allows each component of the museum to function collectively yet independently, while preserving the existing garden areas to create outdoor reading spaces that serve as extensions of the exhibition narrative.

Rather than asserting itself as an iconic object, the project is conceived as a framework—an architectural backdrop that enhances the works it displays. Patios, solid walls, controlled apertures, and galleries with varying heights and changing light conditions create a rich interplay of illumination and shadow. These elements come together to craft a sensory experience that guides visitors through the museum with rhythm, clarity, and atmospheric depth.

BUILDING FOR THE DIRECTORATE OF PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY 2022

The National Coordination of Anthropology and the Directorate of Physical Anthropology aim to house their osteological collections and research departments within the facilities of San Jerónimo Lídice. However, the current building does not meet the technical and spatial requirements needed for the proper preservation of these collections. Insufficient storage capacity, limited organization, inadequate temperature and humidity control, improper lighting conditions, and the lack of specialized facilities and equipment significantly hinder both osteological conservation and archaeological research.

The proposal consists of a three-level volume shaped directly by the geometry of the site.

Interior courtyards were introduced to direct natural light and ventilation into the building, improving environmental quality and reducing dependence on mechanical systems.

To ensure privacy for specialized spaces—such as laboratories and the osteotheque on the first level—the complementary programs were grouped on the ground floor. This organization strategy maximizes flexibility, allowing clear zoning between public and private areas.

As a result, the project achieves a balanced separation between spaces frequently used by students and those dedicated to research, while maintaining visual and spatial permeability with the osteotheque. The floor plans are organized through a straightforward central-corridor system: a narrow strip of office spaces on one side, and a wider band of seminar rooms, laboratories, and consultation areas on the other, ensuring efficient circulation and functional clarity across all levels.

YAUHTLI 2022

YAUTEPEC, MEXICO BIM SPECIALIST | ARCH

(INDEPENDENT PROJECT) Yauhtli Country House is a weekend residence located in a rural community approximately three kilometers from the center of Yautepec de Zaragoza, Morelos. The project began with the creation of a new site entrance—previously nonexistent—which establishes a sequence that guides visitors toward the villa, positioned at the northern end of the property and surrounded by sugarcane fields.

The orientation and placement of the residence were defined to capture key landscape features, including the Tepozteco National Park and the Iztaccíhuatl–Popocatépetl National Park, both of significant visual and environmental value.

With the intention of framing these natural landmarks, the private areas were oriented toward the main landscape views. The residence adopts a rectangular configuration along an agricultural boundary, organized along a north–south axis to optimize natural lighting and ventilation. The vertical circulation core is located to the northeast to buffer morning solar exposure and maintain stable interior environmental conditions while maximizing daylight.

The social area of the villa is composed of essential built-in elements: an extended

breakfast

counter,

kitchen

cabinetry,

and

an

L-shaped

masonry

sofa. These site-built components provide a crafted, artisanal character to the kitchen and open living area. The interior unfolds as an open space immersed in vegetation, extending visually toward a large pool finished with chukum plaster.

Influenced by the attributes of the surrounding landscape, the design adopts a restrained architectural language that subtly references critical regionalism in Mexico—expressed through its materiality, simplicity, and character, responding directly to the client’s aspirations.

The result is a weekend residence deeply connected to its natural surroundings, defined by landscape-oriented views, passive environmental strategies, and crafted architectural elements. The house balances simplicity and regional expression with a contemporary spatial approach, producing a peaceful and contemplative retreat rooted in its rural context.
