21. Brooklyn East & Ketchup
from My first document
by Jason Frey
I am Brooklyn East, a clover bud member in the Alameda 4-H Club. I love all things farm and baseball! If you are looking for a steer to purchase, I would like to introduce you to Ketchup! Ketchup was born on our farm in April of 2022 to my very own cow. I knew right from the start that he would be the perfect steer for my 4-H project, and his red colour made it easy to decide on a name! Ketchup will be close to 1100lbs by June, and despite his name, I don’t think you’ll need any ketchup to find him tasty! Thank you for considering Ketchup.
22. Katelyn Rutten & Doc

My name is Katelyn Rutten, and this is my 7th year in Alameda 4-H beef club. I am 15 years old and am the secretary in our club. I spend all of my spare time in the barn; showing cattle is my favorite thing to do. This year my steers name is Doc. I’ve been working with him since mid-August and he has come to be a really quiet steer. I can’t wait for you to see him at our annual show.
