5. Karlee Hull & Otis
from My first document
by Jason Frey
My name is Karlee Hull and this is my 11th year in 4-H. I live on a farm right beside Alameda. My parents are Ryan & Missy Hull, we have a commercial cow herd of 160 cows. Over my 4-H years, I have built my own herd with heifers I’ve shown & I have purchased 4 others. This is my steer Otis, he is off of a Simmental x Angus cow & sired by our Wheatland Bull Vern, on April 16th he weighed 1180 lbs. Otis was born on April 7th 2022, he is gaining well & by June I’m thinking he should be over 1300 lbs. Come to the Regional Show & Sale on June 10th and get a steer to fill your freezer this summer.

Hi, my name is Laura Christensen. I’m the daughter of Brad and Tammy Christensen, and we live on a farm NW of Lampman. I am a senior member and President of the Alameda 4-H Beef Club. This is my 11th year in 4-H and this year my steer’s name is Que. He is full of quality Simmental meat that would be great for your freezer! There is a slaughter spot ready for Que at Moose Mountain Meats in Wawota if needed. Thank you for supporting the Alameda 4-H Beef Club and the 4-H organization! It is greatly appreciated!
